I think i enjoy reading the novels than watching the live action. And when i do watch live actions that i have already read the novels, i can't seem to finish it (except the kings avatar. Read like a thousand times, watch like a thousand times both anime and live action.) I have to learn to accept that novels and their live action are two separate works
Its even worse when there is animation because animation tends to stick with the novel. And here is the case that you have read the novel and watched the animation. After getting excited that it has been adapted into live action so you can have the excuse to indulge again, you get so disappointed than the word disappointment
