Wang Hedi did mention that toward the end the budget for production is too tight and that's why some scene not included like kiss between Shang Que and Jeali for example and probably the shoot longer ending but not making the cut. Let's hope due to the explosive popularity, they will release new cuts.

They didn't expect going to be a major hit. I'm a bit sad that toward the end of production they are tight on budget. Since it gained a lot of popularity, probably a lot of investor coming up if they want to do sequal. I know for example Luficer axed from US tv broadcast but Netflix picking it up and continue for several season. Not sure how is the showbiz in China is but I think all the casts would do it again if the script is great and great budget

The Ashes of Love is longer with 60+ episode. The main CP is superb along will the supporting roles. The story do have similarities with LBFD and the hero from powerful immortal in Heaven become powerful immortal in Hell. Just watch it.

Ashes of Love is phenomenal. I still can't get over over the main CP and the ending also great. I should say Love Between Fairy and Devil is another masterpiece like Ashes of Love
