I'm devastated. He was an amazing actor, not just a pretty face. This is why mental health should be addressed in fiction, literature, movies, and tv. There is heavy stigmatization /prejudice related to mental health issues around the world, especially in Asian countries where is a complete taboo subject. It shouldn't be. People should feel comfortable to seek the help of friends, colleagues, family and professional help, not hide in despair and shame, suffering by themselves because society wants everyone to be flawless and pressures idols to be perfect. Japan has the highest rate of suicides in the world. RIP Miura Haruma, may he find peace. He shall not be forgotten.
I've been following his work ever since he did Goblin and I'm so proud that he finally achieved popularity! He is a precious cinnamon roll that must be protected. I hope to see him in more main roles!
A blind ballerina and a cheeky Angel? (City of Angels K-Version?) I'm sold. Sign me up, I can't wait to see these two gorgeous and talented people on screen!:D
You're welcome, I was going to send you a link but I see you already found it:D Thankfully I can also read in Spanish, Hope they translate more~Hope you like the manga (it seems to have more romance between Yuri and Harumi):3
EDIT: @elvirad, @rdturbo, @ilovezayn, @Orulyon, @Kudo_Lelouch thank you for your replies! I just watched the first…
Yes it is very slow, but its beautiful, every scene is meant to be deep and with meaning to make us think, its a slow burn romance... think of a mature, responsible, version of Chuugakusei Nikki, don't forget that here they are both adults, so there is not much angst like Chuugakusei. .. but there is enough bittersweetness and constraints.
His agency terminated his contract in early 2017 for "repeated violations" after 11 years. Yamamoto violated his obligations many times it seems. It's a pity because in Japan those statements can end a career, so I think his career is over since he did not get another job. T___T
And imagine when that happens we will be already old :DI already feel old as I see So Hyun acting in adult dramas....
If I thought about that, then right now I already feel very old comparing my age to teenagers and university young adults that seem to be the majority of k-drama fans. Don't worry! We'll be cool mature "old" women fangirling;) Age does not matter when it's about something we love~ (My mom is watching this drama with me and loves it;P).
I'm absolutely captivated by the child actors on this one. They are all fabulous to a degree that I strongly believe when they reach the age of adulthood they will surely surpass many k-stars. I hope they get leading roles when they grow up!:D
Honestly, I'm loving it and I was not a fan of the prequel, unlike the majority of the fandom. I don't know, maybe it's the actors, but I find this one funnier and more sweet :) The first one with F4 did not kept my interest.
RIP Miura Haruma, may he find peace. He shall not be forgotten.
The long trailer in Jang Ki Yong instagram:D
