Basically the series ended like with Chapter 4 of the manga. I do wish this episode was a bit longer to show them having more communication, like in the manga, instead of saying some things in their head . They did talk it through some but I felt they could have done more.
There's quite a bit they can do for S2, since it can have quite a bit of stuff like have the manga convention, explain who Glasses guy is LOL, etc. I see double dates, more background info (I feel like Segasaki has a tragic/traumatic backstory hence why he has an Anxious Attachment style - The strong fear of abandonment , anxious adults to be intensely jealous or suspicious of their partners.)
Maybe that explains why he’s so strong and resilient cuz if I were in his shoes, I would’ve died a while back…
I think he was always smart since he finished the IQ test and was drawing while scheming girl (present day wife/exwife) is struggling and steals the test from him and he's the noble idiot type, so he let her get away with it per usual she lays on the emotional blackmail and acting to get her way.
The older actress usually plays villain roles, so I thought maybe she switched into a tragic but good person character LOL although I had my doubts thinking she was a villain when I saw her on the cast list and in the earlier episodes and but her HIV/AIDs story and mistreatment by Dr. Choi kind of made me sympathize with her but BLOOP!!! she emotionally scammed me into pitying her as a viewer. I feel bad for ML he was orphaned and needed a family too, like Miss Ex-Wife has always been selfish and greedy. Then again we don't know what tragic trauma story they have before being orphaned which shaped their character and how they were in the orphanage because of it. So I'm only judging her based on that since it seemed like she always used ML and probably never loved him. She only loves herself LOL
They haven't announced anything yet except that the manga has new bonus chapter(s) added because of the TV series. From the IG lives, both Acchan (Atsuki) and Kouhei seem to want to work together again. They seem have developed a genuine friendship from this show, they are always flirting/teasing each other/commenting on each other's social media etc LOL
the styling are horrendous! Short mini dramas can do better than this

They kinda feel like well meaning rich people that let their son do as he wishes vs if they were working class, they would be nagging the kid to study or help out with their business be it selling at the market, bakery/cafe, retaurant etc.
They are like you are my only son! I'm screaming at my laptop, lady go with your hubby and make another kid or two!
