If you're reffering to wang xingyue he got the drama confession bcs his manager pulled so many dirty tricks. Wang xingyue is liked by intl fans bcs he resembles anthony bridgerton and sucess of double. He is not that well liked in china as they make him in intl forums . His manager is intent on building his career using other famous cast like bailu and such. I watched him in perfect match and the varierty show the cast did. He and his cp came across as extremely cheesy to the pt of tacky. But if thats the way they want to sell their cp that fine. But dont compare him to chen feiyu.

If he is not famous we wouldn't be here worrying so much. I think he needs a strong manager or studio who fight for him and his roles. But that comes at a cost of heavy performance even in daily life, hot searches and tv shows where every minute feels like its scripted. I don't think chen feiyu is suitable for that role. He is introverted with ocd and ppl seem to hate his privileged background 🙄. So hope he does what suits him best.

I think chen feiyu focuses on movies more than dramas. In cdramaland actors trying to establish themselves roll out one drama after the other no matter if all the dramas are repetition of their previous dramas. They only do drama hence they have 2 sometimes 3 dramas per yr. Established actors go a yr or two with no drama yet they won't be affected. Chen feiyu also does movies so for us intl audience who have no access to c movies feels like a drought.

yes, she changed near the end before the writers did a 180. she even changed ye feng to be good. the writers were too harsh on this couple. they could left them on the path to goodness and they would have been another dumb couple like fei ting and ling mei
