The fl did pretty well read the novel or watch PA. She portrayed Chu Qiao excellently. Chu Qiao is stand-offish and awkward but truly cares for her PPL . And hytt nailed it.

PA had few changes from novel, it's not true adaptation of novel since it did not purchase novel rights back then. So few character story is different in PA and novel

First two ep have story dump so it's bit too much but ep3 onwards it smooth. Ep4 was fantastic

Quick summary, one evil emperor, father of sml had held feudal princes hostages since young . Ml and sml are hostages with sml being the youngest and most naive. One day these princes watch slaves getting hunted by wolves for sport and ml seeing potential in fl and takes her in. He trains her into a spy and she becomes good friends with all the feudal princes. Fl believes in equal and just world with no slavery and chases her dream and becomes a general helps PPL, establishes an army.
