I have finished episode 12. And like IrukaFenni, I will miss this show slightly even though I have many complains 😅 I felt like the performances this year were less memorable. I do admit I am very bias towards S4 HAHA

The beginning song with Qiao Sijun was fun! Also liked the group song at the end. I need to rewatch the performances to remember which ones I liked.

The result was as expected. I got spoiled the results way earlier on too so shrugs. I am thankful to S5 for bringing back the zao xia ban duo 😂 (Hu Xia and Zao An) as well as introduced me to the rappers and a few of the TOP people (although mango really shoudn't have been so obvious in their bias). Have always loved the GBA lads and fond of fai lok/kuai le team.

Btw, top songs winning some of those awards towards the end is laughable ha ha ha

My new favourite group, the rappers, New Generation got eliminated.

ASLO IN WHAT world would TOP be able to earn the Ace Card?!? I noticed they didn’t reveal the directors’ scores? Haven’t they be doing this all these while? 🙄 also they didn’t show the actual calculations for the group scores aye? 🙃

I think I read that the rappers PKed with Happy Old-Timers so ofc old timers won’t lose. Just pick the next least popular group 🙃

Altho it’s frustrating watching the blatant bias, I do still enjoy the interactions and creative process of the geges. Sigh~

Yessss! Actually at first I thought the third stage performances were kinda boring but I did actually like a few haha

And TOP finally not doing what they’re comfy with so it was nice to watch that.
I wish the other geges would do something more happy? 😂 has everything felt super emo lately??

AND do you know what I found out?! That the highest scorer in that elimination round was singing their OWN SONG!!!

SO SAD for AK. And Nine wanting to bring AK to the finals 😭😭 I don’t follow Into1 but can imagine ☹️

There hasn’t been a stage where I want to go back and rewatch over and over again. Sadly. Sigh~

Putting my HMPH IM MAD aside. The stage I enjoyed the most from the third stages is Let’s Dance. The one with KnowKnow EL and two TOP members.
When I first heard New Generation + TOP alliance, I did think MCHotdog was smart haha. It was a smart move 😆

Second most liked stage is uh the five of them from X bros + GBA alliance. I’m so bad with song names haha.

I don’t want to drop the show cause I really loved S4 (and watched all the other seasons) and I do like most of the remaining contestants 🥲

😭😭😭 nooooo don’t leave but I do understand. I did translate some repo on XHS and they say that first performance was really dark and they actually couldn’t see any of the geges. There was something wrong with the sound as well or something. Hence would have been hard to actually score high. BUTS they had a full dress rehearsal and everything URGH

Of course everything is scripted for TOP 🙃

Same as bblvr in the previous spoiler, HOW in the world did TOP get first place with quite a number of votes ahead of Happy Old-Timers?? They were out of tune. Their dancing were not super synchronised.
I mean I already knew INTO1 was eliminated this round but still this is such a blatant ridiculous rigging 😠😤

And it was one of INTO1’s best performance in my humble opinion. AHHHHHHH I was so mad. And I was actually so sad during their reveal 😭
