Very interesting. 16 hrs gone like nothing. :D The kind of sad ending I can accept. :( But they could have made an ending longer. I would recommend it to people who like solving mysteries. btw, Kim Joo Heon has never disappointed me with his acting but this time he outshine his other dramas' performance imo.
(This misunderstanding happened from EP 28-35. Angst for 8 episodes is too long!) What I hated the most about this drama was that Ge Zhao Di didn't arrange the pawned paper (3,000 strings of money) & other papers well which were beside the ZPE's bed. And Zhao Pan Er didn't bother to check the papers beside her bed. Finally, Gu Qian Fan didn't dare to give her the pawned paper face-to-face before he went for the northern envoy stuff. He couldn't let her go but couldn't dare to see her face-to-face too? What's wrong with him? (Why did you add this misunderstanding part writer? I was going to think that this drama has the most logical writing until that point.) Also, I feel that the ending was rushed quite a bit. Why is there no wedding scene of Zhao Pan Er and Gu Qian Fan? I know it costs money but all the viewers wanted to see that part if I am not wrong. If you have treated us with a wedding scene, the drama would have a better rating and we could have recommended it to others better. Also, there shouldn't be that misunderstanding part (EP 28) in this drama. ------------- As for the rest, I liked it. OP & ED songs are really good.😊
Watch Love Between Fairy and Devil I think that's my favorite drama this year, and it is a shocker is xianxia…
I just finished Love Between Fairy and Devil today and AoS is my fav drama of this year especially cos of the above reasons. Also, I don't like rebirth and angst. btw, you got a funny profile. XD

This drama has one of the best CGI I have ever seen in Xianxia, especially in EP 1, 3, 9, and 16. The mortal world parts were the most boring ones for me. The loopholes were quite big, and the story isn't that interesting and predictable. The story felt like it was a story for the beginner who hasn't watched much drama yet. But the good thing is that you can understand the story even with loopholes.
What I liked the most were CGI effects & ML & FL crashing 2nd ML & others very openly with their love lines/confessions and I started to feel sorry for 2nd ML & others. At least, they were not coward main leads so I love it. OSTs are great and used at the right time.
Should you watch it or not? The story is not complicated so you can skip and watch it and still understand the story. So, if you got time for beautiful scenes, then, watch it.
