Actually, if you look carefully again, the scar is on the right side of the neck is correct. Director doesn't make a mistake about that. Lee Lim held one half of flute in his left hand and another half in his right hand when the flute got cut in half by Lee Gon. Then, he strangled with his right hand and stab LG neck with the flute on his left hand. He only held half of flute on his right hand. Its was not used to stab. The blood on the left side of LG's neck is from LL's hand. The blood on the right side of the neck was from LG's. I got confused at first too and wonder why director made such an obvious mistake. Haha. I was wrong. The scar on the right side of LG's neck is correct. The scar goes from mid to the right side.

Well, complex story are good for binge watch to understand better. This could get popular later. Air time rating doesn't mean all. If the story is interesting and easy to follow, air time rating could be high. Have you seen 4.5k(4.6k soon) comments by episodes 10? LOL This show is not for all but the story sure is very interesting.

There are 6 episodes left so I think I can hope for epic ending as there are still many things left to explain. e.g. Lee Gon can vanish now? Most k-drama drag on from episode 11 because there is nothing much to explain anymore.
Kim Kyung Nam has been so annoying for episode 9 & 10. Causing trouble or blaming to other just because he couldn't accept that he is from another world. Maybe he did it to protect his mum but that's too much. Anyway, good thing that he got his senses back before episode 10 ending.
You might get bore if you are only looking for main leads. But if you look carefully, you could see that all the crimes and supporting roles are connected to the main story. Mysteries are revealing bits by bits but still hard to understand some parts. I think that is what make a story interesting. It kind of revealed about 50% or more? Well, It is at episode 8 which is half of 16 so they probably revealed that much. Anyway, it is becoming better and better because it makes more sense than before. Can't wait for more episodes to know the full story.

Stop whining about characters chemistry/relationship. Focus on plot, two worlds and mystery pieces. Then, you will know how amazing this drama is. Lee Min Ho and Kim Go Eun are amazing. Open your eyes!
The reasons for less chemistry. It is not bad but realistic imo. JTE: She is not feminine, lieutenant and a little boyish. She found LG interesting cuz of his craziness and handsomeness. But her job is more important right now and she needed to know his identity. From ep 1-4, you can see that she care for him but not so much. Then, she went into his world and experience his world and she got to understand how lonely he would be in her world. For the kiss scene in ep 5, she just let him cuz she didn't want to cause trouble in the palace. She could slap him if she wanted but it could alert guards and grandma. She knew LG would not mind the slap. The kiss is also more like a long peck on the lip. She was the one who asked the question first about dating also. She was alone and her opponent is the king. She is also 30 years old so I don't think she mind too. LG has been hitting on her from the start so even a strong woman like her might not be able to resist. What is LG missing that any women won't like? LG care for her, love her, has skills and wealth. She is not totally in love yet but she has started to like him up to some degree and miss him when he is not near her or in her world. This drama doesn't drag on like other drama which they keep pretending to be friend up to 6/8/10 episodes. LG showed that he liked her from the start without pretend or lie. He doesn't even need to confess to show that. He sure is honest and brave man. I believe that more chemistry between leads will be shown later. So, don't blame Kim Eun Sook. There are still 10 episodes left. Can't wait for next episode.

LG might not get old now cuz he has cross the parallel universe and got cool tattoo/scar when there is lighting flashes. Drama title also convey, "The King 'ETERNAL MONARCH'". It will explain in later episodes, I think.

If you are here for just two main leads chemistry, you might be at impatient state or not satisfy with their relationship. I find every moment interesting and enjoying. Pieces are starting to connect right now as Lee Lim corpse case is revealed. There are still more pieces left to explore and that's what make it a great show. Can't wait for next Friday. 10/10 for ep 1-6/16.
I watched because of Lee Kwang Soo. He was manly especially in the last episode. The last episode is the best out of all. Although there is little chemistry between leads, I can feel the love. We have had enough of those from early episodes. I don't know why they keep showing those stuffs. Without those repetition, the show could end with 16/17 episodes. So, I have to use skip buttons not to waste time on unnecessary scenes. Therefore, I can't give 10/10 but 8.5 as I also got bore in later episodes. Maybe, I got bore because I know that the force, media and civilians were going to be rude to police force in disgusting way! I already hate those groups from early episode so there is no need to repeat! Few episodes and full story with closure shows are what we need these days. Please stop with cliffhanger shows Netflix. Luckily, 'Live' doesn't have cliffhanger. The episode 18 is must watch even if you got bore because that's the best part of the show. Overall, it gives satisfying ending for season 1.
I just want to hit the bad people in force and rude civilians. Police got almost no power to defense themselves from rude civilians and law breakers. But they exaggerated a bit too much! This is the first drama I have seen that the police are losing and suffering terribly which make me feel sympathy for them. Anyway, am i the only one who don't want to ever think about becoming police after watching this? If police life is that hard, weapon unit is the best to join. Even if you could die, you could at-least beat the **** out of other or even kill. But they are not facing civilians or force so that might be different story. I have no idea.
This is the first drama that I am not sad but happy even though main leads ................ The ending could be one of the best realistic choice the Director/Screenwriter could made. Waiting might not be that good too. (you will understand after watching) I had been kind of bore of kdrama after watching quite a lot. I was finding a drama that I didn't need to use skip buttons. Then, I found this and it keeps me sit tight without having to use skip button. I love every moments. 10/10!
