This is so cute so far (feels a little fast paced, but then again it is only 7 episodes). Eagerly waiting for the subs! Also, I'm not familiar with Itagaki Mizuki but he's a 00 liner oMG, he turned twenty a month ago, that's insaNE
Man, after being a little disappointed with Record of Youth, I watched the finale of Zombie Detective and was pretty excited. ZD is underrated in my opinion, it sure did deliver!!
Hm I feel like this drama is kind of underrated, I'm quite enjoying it so far. I do understand how it's not everyone's cup of tea with the somewhat cringy humor, but I feel like it's been balanced out well with the recent episodes with more of the serious plot progression.
Also, isn't this just the best for Spooky Season?! This and Gumiho is giving me fun October vibes haha :D:D:D
Can't say I dislike the drama yet,, but my expectations for a drama usually drop if the leads get together before ep 10. I agree with the people saying it feels rushed, and I hate when the leads get together, break up, and then get together at the very the end of the drama to get back together. Just my personal opinion, and I know of course that this may not end up happening in ROY. Hopefully we get to see more of an insight into their actual dreams and struggles in the episodes left! Let's go ROY!
Was anyone else hit hard by the "calling Jae Su hyung" scene? I thought it was so sweet *sobs*. I also thought the best character development was definitely Moon Sang Tae, I think it was just done so well and out of the three of them I felt like he ended up being the most adult like haha (Oh Jung Se needs those awards). Hats off to the whole team of this drama, it was amazing, emotional, and truly healing. 10/10.
A few people have been searching for the song at the end of Episode 2, I know I spent a minimum of one hour searching for it online because I fell in love with it as soon as it started XD I do believe/desperately hope that this is a yet to be released OST. Here's a link to the clip in case you want to enjoy the music before they [hopefully] release it. Cheers! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0cM6-ywqmkQ
Yo this drama is EXACTLY WHAT I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR. A side note, I have a desperate request. The song at the very end of episode 2 (it starts right after the clock strikes 12) sounds soooo good. I tried to search up some of the lyrics I heard, but I can't find the song. Does anyone know what song it is, or if it is actually an OST that they haven't officially released yet?
Parallel universes? Hmm 2020 hasn't been looking so great with those haha... but I have never been disappointed in an OCN drama yet, so I'm looking forward to this!
Hmm a lot of people are asking for Season 2, but I think while a Season 2 would be cute and fluffy, it won't be as "moving" as the first season if that makes sense. Instead I'm really really hoping that in the future this web drama will be remade into a full 12 or 16 {one hour long episodes} drama (hopefully with the same cast as well, crossing my fingers). With this we'll be able to see the story a lot more in depth and perhaps with the larger amount of time, the emotions (while this drama is absolutely brimming with them) they will communicate will triple fold. Sure, I agree with the people that say the plot's a bit generic, but if they had more time they could have really developed the story further. Hopefully some producers will be able to realize the potential and large fan following this has. Cheers!
This review is just so dang good. You literally captured every single thing I thought about this drama....thank youUUU. I saw so much potential in Kim Kyung Nam's (Kang Sin Jae) character and development, so that and the lack of Woo Do Hwan screentime (this man is the only reason I tried to finish this drama) really had me fast forwarding the last 4 episodes. Honestly, this is my third Lee Min Ho drama and I still am not able to comprehend the craze around him, because even though I've only seen three dramas, his characters have hmm basically... molded into one. -_- Anyways, nice job with this review I agree with every single aspect!
Wow, what a cool article! I do think more celebrities should have beards and I loved everyone mentioned in this article. #WhyDoesSiwonEverShave. But I really can't with that last picture of Ji Soo though, I'm glad he shaves lol
Ok, I love Hong Jo and Sol Ah, but CAN WE TALK ABOUT GO DOO SIK AND AND EUN JI EUN. Literal fluffballs, they're so adorable. I love the main pairing, but these two have really stolen my heart with their amazing chemistry.
Also, I'm not familiar with Itagaki Mizuki but he's a 00 liner oMG, he turned twenty a month ago, that's insaNE
