some of y'all saying the ending was just her dream.... I fvcking can't guys THE MAIN LEAD HERSELF SAID IT'S A…
Dude, I feel you, but as I said, that last scene was just TOOO rushed and abrupt. I was at least hoping that for a few seconds they would show them both cuddling under that life tree. But, nothing. Nada. Although the way they ended I felt as if maybe, just MAYBE, we will get a special episode, but I do not want to keep my hopes up for nothing π
I am thankful for the drama, I really am, but the ending was weak af. It was. He reincarnates after 500 years and they kiss??!! I am not even sure if she was dreaming that bit or did it actually happen. They could have given us a little more context. I am happy but also disappointed, but also not shocked because this is a trend, almost, with xianxia dramas. Just give us a special episode for 10 mins or so.
I assume that we will have Happy Ending but for 1 min in entire 36 episode:( :(https://twitter.com/lunarriell/status/1563913071479123968?s=21&t=rqSR2xbG9AuOJSNSk9cYeQ
THIS is exactly what I am worried about. And if that happens, it will be the an extremely disappointing end to a wonderful drama. And I am sure the team will get an overwhelming negative feedback if they do decide to end that way. They better be giving us a decently paced ending with some beautiful moments. :(
Guys, it might be chessy but if i was a producer or screenwriter of this drama, for tomorrow's final episode,…
Lol. This actually does happen in the novel - atleast the son and daughter part does. They have 3 kids - 2 sons (eldest and youngest) and a daughter. Their eldest does actually take after DFCQ - in mannerisms and looks. And the daughter is like XLH. πππ. Although I doubt they will go this way because the adaption has been vastly different from the novel, barring a loose resemblance in overall idea and theme.
Usually, white hair means the character lost most of his cultivation. When DFQC was sealed in prison (and he had…
Ah!!!! Ofcourse. Like when Wen Kexingβs hair in the last episode of Word of Honor turned white because he broke all his meridians while transferring his powers to Zhou Zishu. MAKES SO MUCH SENSE NOW. π Thanks!
Can anyone explain what is the reason for DFCQβs hair turning white, and then black? Why does it switch? What really causes it? Any theories? I do not recall anything about this in the novel.
To reiterate, what I seriously dislike about majority xianxia dramas is their tendency to make these big grandiose climactic war scenes and then give us like 5 mins worth of a super rushed endings. WE. NEED. MUSHY. MOMENTS. I REALLY hope they deliver on this. God knows this drama has been an emotional rollercoaster, as it is. Anyone with me on this?
Omg, it was heartbreakingπππππ Dylan outdone himself, i cried with himπππ And that scene…
What an amazing observation - showing the psychological repercussions of dealing with loss of a loved one! DFQC indeed knew, albeit deep within, that XLH was dead. His reality was just a figment of his imagination - his safe space. He was willing to perish just to keep dreaming that dream. What a wonderful insight!!
On the contrary, I was quite happy that they wrapped up the war scene and XLH sacrificing herself part of the drama this fast. It had to happen, and I am glad they did not stretch it. The moment of her death and the entire direction leading upto that scene, and even post that scene was BREATHTAKING. Was it not? I was clapping at DFQC's crying scene. Having recently experienced loss of loved ones myself, the helplessness, anger and grief DFQC exhibited after XLH passed away was hauntingly accurate. It was heartbreaking.
I am more excited about the upcoming episodes - how DFCQ resurrects XLH, her character as a powerful goddess and how they both get back together for their happy eternity - this is what I am REALLY looking forward to. Often xianxia dramas stretch these climactic war narratives and then barely gives us 5-10 mins of happy endings. Lol.
On a lighter note, did anybody noticed the Arbiters gown passed through the flaming candle but didnt catch fireπ?…
YES YES!! I had the same exact reaction - so many candles and their long-ass capes is not a good mix. And then the tail of gown literally dragged through a line of candles and did not catch fire. Well, those are some magic immortal-proof candles for you, I guess!! πππ
