I continue to be frustrated with the grown adults barely kissing & shocked when their boyfriend wants a kiss, trope. Not looking for anything explicit, but to look like you're scared as hell, maybe you shouldn't have agreed to have a partner?
I'm going to finish it just because I'm 2/3rds in, but this is probably one of the least enjoyable scripts to me. The FL didn't fit their part, there was no chemistry and I hate the "I did this for you" trope after being a horrible person (brother). Every conversation FL has with her brother, he just acts like she hasn't said anything lol. LYX should've been 1ML.
I know I'm of the minority, but I would've much rather seen Xiaoyao with Cang Xuan. Although I liked XiangLiu, he would've never stayed with her like she needs and Tushan Jing was too much of a pushover that I'm not sure he could keep her safe if it comes down to it. Cang Xuan's love was a deep, "I will kill anyone who comes near her" kind of love that you look for in dramaland. Someone who will literally burn countries for the one they love.
Ok, the writer is getting on my nerves making Zi Jin out to be a goody two shoes. Like, why is she offering to take everyone's punishment? Then we get to hear her preach at them. She's becoming very irritating.
I will avoid future dramas with this FL. Maybe because she continues to pick these types of characters, but she always comes off as pouty and hateful downlow. Everything else was actually just as it was supposed to be. Fluffy, with no brain needed, kind of drama.
From what I read, many people here are concerned because we read news about non-US people from our non-US countries…
Not everyone from El Salvador or Venezuela are gang members. Get off the internet & live a real life. America has its share of homegrown gang members and terrorists.
Uugghh. I'm getting frustrated at Seo Bom & her family's naivety. She seems smart but the way she's pushing her family away & the way they think the other family is doing them favors is pissing me off. Hope it gets better.
