It's an open ending. My guess is that they never left. They are still probably slowly dying inside under the influence of the drugs. Also white dying was just a collateral damage. I don't really feel bad for Tee because he did do shitty things to Non. He was a bully. Yes he did feel guilty about it later but none of this would have happened in the first place if he just left Non alone

I think the one killing the patients is Boss. He idolizes Dr kan and definitely wants to be like him. He probably heard Dr kan saying that he wished these people could be free from this situation and decided to take matters in his own hands. Dr kan says in ep 3 that he would never torture his patients but Boss doesn't care about that that's why when killing that one patient he wasn't that careful because at the end of the day he is only doing it for his idol.
Dr kan is not the killer and maybe he doesn't even know that boss is the killer but he doesn't show any disatisfaction because he wanted those people to not suffer. The only time he showed disapproval was that case. Boss knows he can easily get away with the help of the director.
Now I definitely wanna be proven wrong😂.
