I watched this movie yesterday in Toronto Cineplex (Yonge Dundas). There wasn't much crowd as it was Sunday evening (after the Santa parade people might have gone back to their homes as it was snowing all day).
I liked the movie very much. Full of fun. It's another different attempt from the Chinese movie makers. The screenplay was very well written. Sure it's a hit.
This is a complete 'miss', the least favourite of mine as a fan of Park Shin Hye. This drama is miles away from her other previous dramas. The story was not strong enough or without a grip in the last 10-12 episodes. Kim Rae Won or Park Shin Hye fills the 40-45 minutes which is unfair for the other characters. Till the end of the last episode I was not able to figure out what the drama/director wanted to convey to the audience. I hope the director will not disappoint the next time.
only +ve - Kim Rae Won and Park Shin Hye's performance was at their best. Their chemistry was too good.
I'm so excited for this drama!! I have kind of avoided Lee Min Ho so far, mostly because I don't get…
I am just the opposite of you. Lee Min Ho is improving his skill from drama to drama, he is not super talented but at the same time he is not worst. His Gangnam Blues role was too heavy for a debutant and Bounty Hunter is just a commercial movie. He is yet to give his best. I am not sure why Jeon Ji Hyun is still pairing with youngsters (she is almost an 'Ahjumma' now). I raised the same question when she paired with Kim So Hyun in YWCFTS. She is no more in her twenties to play romantic roles. No Offense, she is very talented and she is one of the best actress in Korea and I like her too. I have watched 6-7 of her movies. Jeon Ji Hyeon's performance has not 'clicked' recently. It's tough for her to compete in Korean Film industry if she keeps on choosing the wrong roles. We are seeing the arrival of many talented 'young' actresses recently.
Guys, neither watch this movie based on any good reviews nor skip the movie based on negative reviews. Watch the first 30 minutes and you decide by yourself. I loved it! I watched it in Toronto on Saturday night show. All the seats were filled and the synced chorus hums of Chinese audience mesmerized me (mostly during intimate scene between leads! I have never experienced this much admiration from any audience) It's my first Chinese movie in big screen and worth. Music and cinematography are the best part of the movie. The metro train scene where Chen and Birdie converse was shot and edited perfect. To me that is the best scene. Stars on the sky in a night scene is also equally good.
10/10
Such a waste of talents like Shin Hye and Rae Won, not to forget the second leads!
I suggest the director of this drama to improve his plot and screenplay in his next drama and use the actors talents at the most. Big disappointment!

Let's see how this drama turns out to be.

I bet you might have not watched such a wonderful movie before about Reforestation.
