Oh my, this drama was from the era when the Kdrama MLs were sporting ugly hairdos and awful fashion styles. I didn't start watching Kdramas until early 2019 so this drama and Boys Over Flowers are the only two that I've seen from that time period.
In this remake, I actually hate the FL's parents and sister more than the other characters. Especially her father, he's nothing but just a d*ck face jerk!!!
This lakorn was not about the love and romance of the two main leads and how they overcome everything so they can be together. It was about the greed and evilness of some humans. Episode 1 - episode 8 were okay but from thereafter, it went downhill for me. The part that annoyed me the most was when the ML willingly allowed Primprao to order him around and also accepted her selfish, crazy and evil behaviors. At the end, she was forgiven and received no punishment. She basically walked away with murder. WTF!!!
Draggy and too long! It should have been 24 episodes instead of 40. I skipped episode 20-36 and most of the scenes of spoiled brat Ning Meng (her voice/talk was so f*cking annoying!), little man Hebo and backstabbing Shuang Shuang (their relationship was cringe worthy).
The two sluts totally grossed me out and they're just two diseases that deserved each other. I don't want to see them anymore, YUCK! It's time to reveal their disgusting affair to everyone so the two leads can openly start their sweet romance...that I'm waiting anxiously to see.
I watched ep 1 - 4 and skipped to the last ep. Since the evil twin was the main character, to me, the lakorn was overkill with too much violence and cruelty. Time is too precious to be wasted on sh*t like this.
Love Grate and he usually looks good in the characters he portrayed but this one is cringe worthy. I’m sorry that I wasted my time on it…what a dumb ass lakorn!
Instead of doing the remake over and over, why not do a season 2? Five years later, the FL is married and have a child with a successful and wonderful man. They love each very much but due to an accident or illness, her husband passes away. Then the FL and ML cross path again…this time, make the ML go through hell to redeem himself and to prove his love for the FL.
I think I’m in the minority here. Love Bi Wen Jun and wanted to watch this drama but when I found out who’s the FL, I was totally disappointed. I don’t care for her due to the facts that she annoyed me to death in I Cannot Hug You Season 2 and Meteor Garden 2018. My loss but no regrets here.
What I love about this lakorn is the friendship of Baimon and her two friends, the beautiful countryside and the ML (very handsome and charismatic).
What I hate about this lakorn is the mother and sister of the ML. They are STUPID!!! It doesn't make any sense to me how a man like the ML's father would get married to a money hungry violent pushover idiot B*TCH.
Overall, I enjoyed watching the lakorn. It would have been so much better if they had tone down the idiotic behavior of the ML's mom and sister (they annoyed me to death).

I dropped this drama after 5 episodes: I saw the ML in another drama and loved him but in this one, the make-up and wig made him look WEIRD. On top of that, Xiao Ya just irritated the heck of of me.
