A combination of Scarface and Narcos with nothing new to offer acted by a star-studded cast. If you're a fan of the genre you might enjoy it. Song Kango Ho outdid himself again. Breathtaking music. I enjoyed the music and the acting.

The whole time travel plot device should have been considered in my analysis I agree. I also admit that NPD had his share of problems lol. He was my main focus before Sigma showed up. Trying to study a fictional characters has different aspects and I attempted one. There is no right or wrong here.
It might be an unpopular opinion but...IDK how you attribute a specific mental illness to a K-drama villain. They…
There's a whole discipline that studies fictional characters through theories. My MA thesis was a psychodynamic study of two fictional characters. Fictional characters can be, like you said, simply characters but they can also be developed to be complex enough to study.
First, I am really sorry you had to go through all that because of others' ignorance. You're absolutely right.…
I can't help thinking if only you received the help and support that you needed earlier.. But thankfully and even if it was late you found your way and you're there now and that's what matters <3
Hahaha I know the feeling and that's what makes write about these topics. I agree that no matter what happened…
In addition to what you mentioned, a strong moral belief code even if developed in adulthood affects behaviour and might even act as a restrain against "evil" urges or desires.
Spot on. It also makes one wonder if we are doing everything in our power to help the mentally ill.
and in many parts of the world and many communities, mental illness is thought to be a 'state of mind'. I heard it over and over again in real life and TV shows and movies, "you can be better if you decide to be better." Normalizing illness and pressuring the ill with the weight of their own illness is common.
Mental illness is serious business and I totally empathize with people who had traumatic childhoods I was abused,…
First, I am really sorry you had to go through all that because of others' ignorance. You're absolutely right. Evil should not be justified by mental illness. Having a mental illness doesn't mean you're going to end up evil. Trying to understand villains through mental illness doesn't generalize evilness to people with the same condition. Carrying the same attributes doesn't mean making the same choices. I think Sigma became evil because of his hatred and self-centeredness rather than mental condition. Attempting to understand his mental illness doesn't mean he was evil because of it.
Thanks for the interesting article :) My point of view: Whatever he may have suffered in the past doesn't grant…
Hahaha I know the feeling and that's what makes write about these topics. I agree that no matter what happened to a person it doesn't excuse their behaviour but again I go back in circles wondering about their life and their suffering. It's too complicated an issue.
I am glad to read article discussing Mental illness. In Chinese, pardon me if I wrote it wrong, illness could…
Thank you for the new piece of information! And yes, many schools believe genetics play a role and so does society and personality. We still have a way to go until the world takes mental illness seriously.
Thanks for an amazing article, i thought about it and its nice someone made an article about it ...Sigma was surely…
That's the beauty of complex characters. You know you shouldn't sympathize with him but deep down you do. We could have all been him and that's what makes him more relevant than the leads even.
You are welcome and thank you for the feedback :)
