This was a good movie which reminded me a little of an American 1987 movie called Fatal Attraction. Of course the main reason I wanted to watch it was for Jang Hyuk (as I am still recovering from the FTL blues) and I wasn't disappointed as his acting was great as always. Unfortunately owing to the script I felt that his character was not so much in the spotlight here as much as the main female lead Jo Bo Ah's character, who did a really fantastic job in portraing the obsessed school girl. The 'explicit' scenes are minimal and very well inserted in the story therefore this aspect luckily is not the focus of this movie. All in all I enjoyed the ride and I will happily add this to my 'watched' Jang Hyuk's projects.
Kind of reminded me of American movie Chloe, though I prefered that one better. The beginning was great, but towards the end it was kind of like they wanted to put in more things than needed. Neverless the acting was dev one point!
It was a crazy story somehow, I just watched it...
but I still cried at the end. She was a poor girl, didn't know anything about love and was obsessed with her teacher, mistaking his behaviour as love.
He fricken loved her because he went to the roof first. ㅠㅠ plus the end, when he fell in love with yeongeun (she was playing with chalk board erasers..),
if he didnt he wouldnt have tried to save her. he didn't want to let go of someone that made his heart pound.
So sad, he loved her. So sad. :(
Kim Tae Hoon & Kim Tae Woo - know I thought they looked and sounded alike! haha, now I know why, they were brothers all along :P
I love all the actors listed - not too fond of Shin Ha Kyung though - after skipping most of his scenes in Mr. Back (only watched it for Lee Joon) and then watching him in Brain did not help me to like the actor (sure he's talented) but I hate arrogance SO much - and he played the most arrogant person ever on that drama (kinda ruined him for me)...
This last part of your list has all my favourite over 40 actors in one!! I can truly say I adore all of them but on the very top of the list are Shin Ha Kyun, Sung Dong II and Yoo Dong Geun. They all starred in dramas that I enjoyed so much, my favourite character for Shin Ha Kyun was in All About My Romance, for Sung Dong II both the Replies in which he was so funny and witty and for Yoo Dong Geun both the characters in East of Eden and What Happens to My Family were amazing. It is encouraging to see that as Korean actors age they get better and better, which means we should be getting to see our younger biases for a long, long time to come too. ;)
