I'm in kind of torn right now. I love Chun Jung Myung, but I pretty can't stand Choi Kang Hee (no offense to her fans). Well I think I'll end up watching it:))

I watched the first episode but I can't bring myself to watch any more. People with extreme behaviours are either viewed with sentimentality or viewed with contempt. The scene in the police station was such a true to life example of that, drawing out the cornered Cha Hong Do's defiance.
Adding to that the other aspects you mention, plus Cha Hong Do's bitterness towards other people and herself, I thought it was a remarkably 3-dimensional portrayal of SAD.

Mostly because I relate to her character; not for the social phobia - mine is very mild compared to hers - but other phobic issues. The avoidance behavior, her home being her whole world, coping mechanisms, etc: it's all well-written and well-acted.
I too am loving this drama, it's so unique and appealing^^ I love Ko Yi Suk from the very beginning ♥ and this is the first drama where I am enjoying Choi Kang Hee (I too neither hate nor like her lol) But this role is absolutely perfect for her and him. Thanks for another great article!
I'm not sure what Se Ro's role is either, right now she's more of a comic relief than anything else, but I believe her role is going to get bigger, or so I hope! xDD
I'm really hoping that this drama gets more ratings because it's so heartwarming and sweet and... I don't know, like you said, no big things, just the reality...

Absolutely 'crazy' about this drama! Never dreamed going into it that it would have the emotional impact and content it does. These 2 are perfect in their roles. Writing, directing, acting, and amazing camera work make this an absolutely beautiful production. Great article as usual! Thank you for bringing attention to this wonderful program.

my thoughts exactly. Besides, she's Yi Seok's sister so that alone is enough. If she's not necessary, then neither is his grandfather or mother. The drama's telling his family's story... not just the couple's story.

I really like Kangin, he is hilarious, and how to express it...looks like a real man <3 Although I like many cute-looking Korean guys, sometimes you just can't beat a good old manly look :)
I have his new movie on my PTW list along with Romance Zero and Hello School Girl, and I have already watched Attack on the Pin-up Boys....that movie is so stupidly funny :D I loved the scenes with him and Eunhyuk...
And don't get me even started on EHB, that's the best show that has ever existed! I have rewatched it many times and I'm always crying with laughter...that's one thing that can get me forget a bad mood or sad feelings....
And let me tell you, that first picture you chose....mmmmm.....even my mum says Kangin is handsome LOL
