26 Years is a powerful movie and i highly enjoyed the interactions between the figures' stories and the way they connect their past at the present. I would have definitely done the same had i been in their shoes, dictators must end like dictators should, like a mere shadow of their shameful past. Crucible and Broken are in my vast plan-to-watch list! Burdened choices for weekend, but who said weekend must be always happeh? ;D Thanks for the article!

EDIT: May 18 is one of my favorite movies.

The only one I saw was The Crucible, and it's one of my favorite movies. It was heartbreaking and it made me go and look up the real events that happened in that school. It made me even angrier then I already was!

I've only seen The Crucibles and it is a really powerful film. I think I'm gonna watch the other two, too. :)

26 Years sounds like something I would want to watch. Particularly because I find the events and impact of May 18 very interesting. I've seen the other two...great movies.

A movie similar to The Crucible is Hope, just not as dark and gritty. Although the subject is serious, there is more focus on...hope.

National Security 1985 is another one I will never forget. That one is a VERY difficult watch as it is graphic; but for me, the story is important to be shared. I read up on the guy's life a bit and it broke my heart.

And finally there is Han Gong Ju. That one praised much by critics. All 3 are based on true stories.

It's just me or lately there are more and more Psychological dramas in KdramaLand?
But well, it doesn't bother me at all! Maybe this way there will be some Kdramas in my Favorite Dramas list...I love psychology!

Your ending phrase is so true - there have been so many dramas I just wanted to end - but they pulled me all the way to the end and the ones I loved so much ended too soon :'(

Your description of the characters made me really curious about the drama! Also I like Song Chang Eui. Very well written (as always) article!
