More terrific choices. You will LOVE 1988 and GKP in it! KHN is amazing. What a talent. He's a standout in everything he is in. And I think I have seen darn near everything he has been in drama wise anyway! I really liked Im Je Yeon in High Society and have a couple of her movies on the list. Seo Ye Ji is a beauty. I only really remember her from Last and look forward to Moorim. Byul I know I have seen, but I have no recollection of her. I'm really enjoying this series of posts. So many terrifically talented young actors!

I ♥ Kang Ha Neul so much that I watched the first four episodes of Angel Eyes (knowing that the drama is not my thing) just for him!

I have only seen Go Kyung Pyo in FBND and I've loved him ever since! I hope he gets more roles this year!

I need to see the rest of your choices XD

I never know how to feel about Goong, it was good to me. I liked the main leads together, despised Ji Hyo's character…
It's honestly just so hard to describe because I despised Ji Hyo's character too, hated when the the misunderstandings that the main leads constantly had, didn't like the annoying second lead, and knew that it was super draggy. STILL, I'm not sure what it is - maybe the chemistry between the leads, or the time period it was set in, or the concept, but I really do love it. Analytically speaking I gave it a much lower score than I would have holistically - It's on my top favorite dramas list EVEN though it's the only one that doesn't have a 9 or 10 score - because there's just something about it that really makes me love it.

Finally someone who agrees with me on stories like 100 days with mr arrogant and flower boy ramyun shop not being good. I dropped flower boy ramyun shop and 100 days with mr arrogant was just too unforgettable that i dont even remember if i finished it haha

PS delightful girl was a disappointment too although like gong, it started or rode the initial hallyu wave. I couldnt finish delightful girl either too much makjang

Goong was one of the first kdramas I've seen after Boys Over Flowers and Full House. It was more memorable with the acting than it for the story line. Perhaps if I were to watch it again I'd grow bored at the makjang but I still really enjoyed watching it. Can't really say the same for the rest of the movies. 100 Days w/ Mr Arrogant was forgettable and I grew bored watching Flower Boy Ramyun Shop and Delightful Girl.

I loved Goong, and the bears in the ending credits were sometimes so, so funny! It was one I couldn't stop watching, so I barnstormed through the whole thing in a weekend. Ju Ji Hoon and Yoon Eun Hye really got to me. It's a comedy/romance/drama. Having watched a number of sageuks it was interesting for that aspect too. I think Heard It Through the Grapevine played a bit with aspects of Goong in developing its setting and tone in the early episodes. (Ju Ji Hoon's character pulled me in from the very beginning.) Flower Boy Ramyeon Shop was generally fun and Jung Il Woo impressed me, but I liked Goong a lot more. I haven't seen the others.

Right well said. I hated flower boy ramyun shop. I was annoyed with stupid love story. And dropped it. And also goong was really dead slow. I dropped and picked it up again bcoz I really want to get through drama as it has Yoon eun he in it. I really love her in coffee prince and missing you. Any way above dramas would be my NOT TO WATCH LIST based on your judgement .thank you for the article.

Flower Boy Ramyun Shop was one of the first ten dramas I ever watched and it was kind of a culture shock at the time. I've never been a fan of toilet humor and that drama has A LOT of it. I was shocked that they can't show full kisses in most dramas but they can show a woman constipated on the toilet?? It just didn't seem really attractive or endearing in any way to me. I mean, I get it, we all poo, but I don't need to watch someone do it and I don't find it funny. I think that and seeing people eating with their mouths open are my only two major pet peeves with kdramas and I eventually learned to deal with it, but at the time I was appalled like I was a 90 year old scandalized woman. XD I pretty much agree with every other opinion you have about the others dramas and movies I've seen on this list.
