Shin Eun Jung - loved her in East of Eden ^^ She will always be that nurse in my eyes :)
Park Won Suk - my favorite role of hers was also in The Family Is Coming - as the coolest most awesome grandma ever to enter drama-land ^_^ loved her hair and relationship with her grandson! <3 The first time I saw this actress however was in a Hundred Years Inheritance where I despised her guts lol - I have since seen several older works of hers - and as you said, she's either "utterly adorable or utterly hateful".
Do Ji Won - LOVE this actress! I first watched her in 'Smile Dong Hae' and loved her as Anna Laker, Donghae (Ji Chang Wook)'s mom ^_^ Her performance was SOLID - she plays a woman with the mentality of a 7yr old b/c of an accident - I absolutely ADORED her! and I was SO happy when they reunited in 'Healer' ^_^ <3 Where she gave another EXCELLENT performance! I also enjoyed her in Golden Rainbow ^^
and Ban Hyo Jung - I have seen several shows she has been in and loved most of them, I honestly hated her role in 'Rosy Lovers' - ugh she was the most meddlesome irritating woman on that drama - hope to never see her like that again. I loved her in Shining Inheritance and in The Road Home^^
It takes great will power for me to watch these kind of films/dramas anymore. I applaud your strength of will to endure what you did getting through all of these. They will weigh on you long after you watch and that's why I limit them to extremely sparingly and eliminate dramas with their interminable angst from my list completely. The Crucible is one I am still trying to work up my courage to endure. One Day.
