The first 30 min it was headed in a good direction then characters started making stupid decisions to drive the plot. Also the unconvincing plot holes are inescapable. But hey, the revenge moment was cool.

That last sentence he said hits hard :(

My god! Choi Ik Hyun sure talks a lot. Dude won't shut up like 75% of the script is him talking.

Feels it was cut short around the end. It needed more interactions with the kid and the old friends.

The initial events are too forced and artificial for the sake of kick starting the revenge plot. Overall it's like one of those cheap TV movies.

In the Korean version, the food looked better and it was more quite while cooking/farming/doing chores.

In the Japanese version, I liked the diverse outdoor scenery with the wide shots more, you could almost smell the nature. But I found the ending unfitting, also no mention of the mother after the last letter.
