No idea until they officially announce it. This is the first historical puppet drama i have seen being so secretive. Like we don’t know if the leads are confirm or who the director and SW is. And the funniest part is the platform is also uncertain. Before it was mango, than became youku, sometime it’s from both mango and tencent and now they are saying it’s iqiyi🤣. I don’t know. I will just wait patiently until they announce it with the crew and hold the booting ceremony. 一瓯春 or anything else i will follow whatever he choose.

They will change the drama script from the novel. In the novel shen run appear after almost 25 chapter and that's like after 3-4 episode in drama. They will add shen run's childhood life to increase his parts in drama. Just like abay where in the novel han ting and ji xing met after they were adult but in the drama we see that they were in the same University and han ting was ji xing's senior. Shen run is the most exciting character in this novel and he was shown as a perfect person there. But they will show his flows in the drama to make it as a real life character and the hardship he has gone through as a child. A good screenwriter is a must for this project otherwise it will be a waste. The novel has many loopholes and only a good screenwriter can perfectly adapt it.

No it’s from either youku or mango. It’s definitely not a tencent project. If It's from youku i am afraid about the length of the drama cause i heard a rumour that youku will made it’s upcoming all projects around 12-16 episode. If they really do that this drama will most probably be a try out project for them to see the audience s reaction. Who knows how will it turn out.
