I'm not against plastic surgery and Botox, but Kwon Yool's face looks half-paralyzed. He always has the same expressions because of the Botox. The difference is stark, not to mention Ji Sung, who is an extraordinary actor, but even compared to others in terms of facial expressions. It really bothers me.

It's frustrating to see how on MDL, people only seem to give high ratings to mainstream dramas featuring good-looking actors who strip down and offer plenty of fanservice. There are so many great shows out there that deserve recognition, but they get overlooked just because they don't fit this shallow mold.

Those you mentioned started with *Dream High*, which, to be honest, was a drama for teenagers and not at the level of something like *Secret Garden*. So, this is not about the history of idols acting; it’s about casting them in popular K-dramas when they have little acting experience and don't convey much emotion.

I agree with you, Viki has gotten worse in my opinion. Their process is so slow compared to giants like Disney+ or Netflix, which release episodes already subbed.
