This one was short and sweet. The storyline had a huge potential, with the actors having a seemingly great chemistry, but was unfortunately not harvested. It seemed to stretch a bit too long and there were unnecessary scenes which added little to nothing to the storyline. This led to there being less time left for an ending, making it seem forced and unnatural. Instead, adding more scenes for storyline development or even just the acceleration of this very plot would've proved to be excellent.
It had some beautiful meanings and concepts or stereotypes handled. Such as the "sex-taboo" in Japan or other Asian countries. Or the lack of awareness about the LGBTQ+ community itself like Nagisa pointed out. "After reaching puberty, a kid starts to feel attraction towards the opposite sex." Etc.
The funniest part though, for me, was the mom's technique for getting over breakups. HILARIOUS X"D

Uhh also, why's there no info about the second lead actor who played Hao Wen? What's his name?
I see! Even the info here says it's made in China.

Beautifully made. Although plot was a bit slow and seemed to be dragged on a bit, the actors were lovely. Funny parts were so amusing xD

I didn't hate it at all. It was all good and I feel like if one isn't too repulsed by gore and slasher themes, one could actually find some deeper meanings within the movie. Like the gun turning into his "partner" I think and talking to him.
When you think about it, you could say that in the past when he killed his partner, he also killed his urge to kill for pleasure (inferred from the fact that the dude killed for pleasure) and went back to Japan to start anew( we all know that's stupid if he actually thought that, but yeah). And then he knew that his pleasure killings were back in the form of his weapon. Just my theory.
We can also see parallels between his past and present when he kills the raven symbolising thought. He kills the constant thoughts in his head. While he also wanted to kill the 'memory' raven, he could not.
More interpretations are welcome haha.
Some things seemed forced in the movie. Like the scene with fibrillator. It wasn't necessary for the plot until the very end. Seemed forced. They could have made it more subtle. Like the students discovering this recording feature on their own while messing around.
I'm no writer though. And I personally feel this one was quite good as it is.

Love open minded plots like these. Nothing overly sexualized, just portraying the "taboos" in the society in an open minded manner. What makes us follow the societal framework so keenly? Who is forcing us to think or act in a particular way? Is this still us?

That's so true. I was bawling. It really does hit you hard. Truly a masterpiece.

Season two please thank you!!!!!
Agreed, but as Khai said it himself, Theory of Love is over and now it's not just a story because they're in a relationship.
Idk what that meant but yeah :p
