Ugh. I was enjoying this drama so much., and even thought at the start of episode 8 if they ended it here it would be a near perfect drama. But I knew we’re only half way. What will the writer do to keep it going? I hoped for some type of positive happy plot devices (trying to keep it a secret while getting a job at the same place, opposite personalities planning a wedding, I dunno something light and fun and healing), but knowing drama writers knack for ruining good shows I feared they’d take it in a different direction.

Fast forward 45 minutes…

It was even worse than I feared.. Sigh.

Okay, so the CGI is not wonderful, but the props and costumes look a lot more real than most C Dramas. At least the armor is real metal and leather rather than plastic.

I’m liking it so far. It’s like a Chinese homage to HP Lovecraft’s Call of Cthulhu.
