You know somehow I feel nervous when he performs live on stage in case he goes off key or forgets his lyrics 🫣🫣 but he has always pulled it off !

I actually liked S2 more than S1. Definitely for Miles. But also coz right balance of politics, revenge, romance, drama, business and friendships. Plus sets, costumes, makeup, .music . Above all great cast and acting! Wrapped up nicely without any rush! Can't think any other ending would have been more suitable.

It seems it took a whole 7 months to complete (both parts)

I completed 11 on Viki and 12 on another site which we can't name. Tbh I enjoyed all the episodes except ep 12. And I really really hope its got to be written that way for us to see something better! I mean I think JCY sister burning in fire has something to do with it. Perhaps Mudan's mum has a noble bloodline and has connection with the Royals? Maybe Wu Bo was forced to do that job by some high power who knows this. JCY interrupts him when he was trying to say something so there is more to it. This could be the climax of the story when the truth comes out. Anyway I am holding on 😀

Me! Just completed 7 episodes on ViKi and man! I am loving our man's performance in S2 more 💖💖💖
In S1, LC was full of repression and when he faced opposition he was meekly obedient to his parents/Ning/princess etc. Even his rebellion was just a childish way of venting his disappointment and dissatisfaction!
In S2 he is still (pretending to be) obedient but he is planning and calculating at the same time! He is more aware of his purpose and desires. And... he only cares about himself and his desires now!
Loved the scene on the boat- "You are willing to be so humble for him, but I don't care! I just want to stay a bit longer with you now!" Those intense eyes, calm, calculating mind and the dialogue! Contrast this to his scene with her on the bridge in S1 in a drunken state where he conveyed helplessness, unwillingness and that delusional fantasy that he could be her saviour!
Also I liked the way he manipulated Prince Ning to accept his strategy (while playing chess).
So many good scenes showcasing his acting skills in this 👏👏
Expressions, emotions and energy were spot on!
The way he has shown this transition and contrast with subtle emotions and expressions is watch worthy!! No wonder the director specifically chose him for this role! Hope he has more such intense scenes!

But this isn't bad. Aviation theme is exciting and surely as a main lead he would have to have something to perform 😂
