Just finished it, I agree knock 15 episodes off at least. After the 3rd or 4th lesson about Chinese clothes making or embroidery etc that was enough, we get you're proud of your culture no need to over do it. The Paris section could have been trimmed.
I don't know what western nation your from, but here in the UK that is sexual assault and will get you at least arrested if complained about, you might get away with a warning but if workplace occurrence you would be fired. As a guy if I did that I would fully expect to be arrested.

I haven't gotten to the Jia Xi part yet, but even in the real world the more talented and who will increase a companies profile more is going to go further quicker than an employee who is average. I am assuming after her course in Paris is finished she returns and work for Ming Xuan company. But get placed higher than her friend who has been working their while she was in Paris. If that's the case I don't see the issue as I pointed out in last comment FL had already been established as more superior designer than Jia Xi even before she attended the prestigious school in Paris. Or is the only issue the fact she is dating Ming Xuan let's make Mo Fei a random male character with the same skill set, then when they join the company then He would still be a superior designer than Jia Xi and would rightly be placed above her for signing with the company instead of a competitor.
It's like with Xiao Yu he was a rock star when he was a teen so when he joined Cayman I doubt he went to the bottom of the pile just because some average designers had been at the company for 2 years.
It's the same anywhere a sports team brings in a young player that is making waves, they ain't putting them on the bench because they have some players that having been performing but have been at the club for 5 years, they will be put in the starting line up. etc wetc

You do remember Xiao Man tried to destroy Mo Fei's previous dress which Mo Feimanaged to save, and Fang Xiao Yu knew this and told Xiao Man that was part of why he fired her.
Also, I'm on episode 20 and I never heard Mo Fei blame Xiao Man for destroying the 5th dress in the competition, she never stood up for her asking where the proof is, but I wouldn't defend someone who has already attacked me before and destroyed my work.
Although I haven't gotten to the part were Shen Jia Xi betrays Mo Fei, I can clearly see why Mo Fei gets ahead, If you ignore ML and 2ML from the equation, multiple people mention that Mo Fei is skilled and will go far, while Shen Jia Xi in comparison is nowhere near as skilled, even when Xue Ling hires her it's simply because she knows Mo Fei, she doesn't think much of her as a designer, she was hired to use her which wasn't Mo Fei's fault, and neither is being better than someone at something you sacrificed a lot for, it's stated a lot Mo Fei just studies, works and designs while Shen Jia Xi goes partying after the competition which shows Mo Fei isn't just more talented she also works harder.

I've been watching Asian dramas for a year now, and infidelity plots I can't stand especially if it's one of lead committing it.
But your last comment about parents forcing marriage on their children, I didn't even think about that aspect being the reason that leads to affairs. I doubt it's a major amount in relation to affairs unfortunately people cheat when they married for love all the time.
Although for example Park Min Young is probably much richer and look at the type of guys she date. Ex-con, shady and not even average looking.
