Well i was not expecting something super original. I think fans are excited to see him in a purely romantic role, something we didn't see him before.

I have the same attitude as you. But i mstill watch it for XZ. After the 1st episode, i find it enjoyiable so far. Its a bit funny how they portrayed doctors i n the serie and its cute.

I understand what you mean. The second half went downhill for me. They tried to put too many twists. The relationship between some characters didn't make sense at the end. Ive seen way better dramas. I hope Jeremy xu will have better projects.

Im at episode 14. The interactions between the leads are interesting but the story is so so. Its somehow not well crafted or not believable but still entertaining. Jeremy Tsui has a new drama coming soon I think (Be my Princess) on Iqiy. It looks interesting. I will surely check that out.

So the rumors is that William Chen will play Tang Sang son in the second season and Xiao zhan will not return. I don't expect XZ to be back but william chen in Douluo continent is too weird. I liked him in novoland.

The fight scenes are awesome. The serie is different from other series so its worth watching.
