Owh i think u misunderstood me. My 1st point is referring to those people who value faithfulness AND CANNOT watch FL & ML together after their spouse died, then the drama is not for them.
If someone who values faithfulness and CAN accept that the FL & ML be together after their spouse died, then this drama is fine for them (they can enjoy watching it 😄. )
I enjoyed this drama, but i have to admit., there are certain themes in these drama that challenged my core values…
1. It’s about 2nd love. So if you a person who values faithfulness & cannot take that both FL & ML falls in love with each other after their spouse died about 5yrs prior, then this drama is not for you.
2. One of the pair is a teenager / young person (boy) with a 25yrs old lady. I don’t mind age gap, but the visual here… he looks really young. So it depends on your tolerance level.
3. The show also portrays how the ‘old maiden’ is ‘bad news’ in the old days. So the drama is also focusing on how these old maidens need to find their husbands/fated ones (even though some of these maiden are happy without getting married). So, if you are a single person who choose to be happily single & find it ridiculously difficult to find your fated one, this drama may be pushing some of your buttons.

Now I remembered why I am a Zhao Lusi fan. The emotions she displayed in her facial expressions are so good (slight change in her eyes gaze, movement at the corner of the mouth etc, are totally spot on). Now we are in a bad-ass strong & clever Feng Yin arc, I can’t wait to see more of Lusi’s acting.
