I hope so, but from the trailer it appears her character at the beginning to be innocent young girl and later after getting bullied and going through hardship in life, she toughens (as the trailer implied… from a dust, how does it becomes a pearl? - via high pressure).
So I assumed maybe half of the drama we will see that journey she is ‘toughening’.
So I wish I could see her in drama that her character is already matured, smart and strong (like BFX in WRTW), or max 2 first episodes that show her suffers (to build on a story / explain how she gets to where she is)
I want Lusi in another historical drama as a smart and strong FL (similar to Bei Feng Xi’s character, in storyline that are intriguing and interesting like LLTG, The Double, Story of Kunning Palace, with Happy Ending).
Together with ML that can show how he feels without saying a single word (yes u know which actors can do these!)

Special episode - i am rewatching it, but couldn’t really understand the conversation when they are playing the chess. Is there a double hidden meaning? The translation to English seems weird.
