Jin Seok's wife is obsessive. She made him believe she was pregnant. He shouldn't have married her because she was pregnant (It's not a good reason).

She doesn't care about the child, she only kept the baby because thanks to him Jin Seok stayed beside her even if he didn't love her. The child is mistreated by her (In ep 6, she didn't make him diner and he looked surprised when she asked him if she could prepare something).
