Thank you, I really love the outro song but I have to close my eyes because they spoil the whole drama 🤣. So…
Haha, yes the opening and ending song of Cdramas almost always consist of scenes from the drama so it will spoil what eventually happens if you go through them.
The OSTs here are great. I was waiting for it to be released on Spotify as soon as this drama started airing. Glad it was helpful as I'm sure there are others who are looking for it as well. It saves time having to search for it, feel free to pass on the link
Yes it should! Damn episode made me bawl the whole way straight and intermittently cries again a couple of episodes…
Yea haha I would still continue watching since they managed to gauge our interest very well throughout with a rollercoaster of emotions. That whole episode was pure sobbing and I just couldn’t help it especially when the memories of Lin Yi replayed along with the two brothers’ pain/tears 😭 (They could have even decided to kill off one of the leads at the end if the writer was brutal enough but I was glad no one else sacrificed otherwise it would be really disappointing)
Also, the addition of Qu Bo to the team right after seemed a bit too abrupt but it is understandable from both perspectives. Even though he was pretty much shown as a jerk before, I did feel kinda bad for the way he was treated since he really didn’t do anything wrong and was just following orders to transfer. He misses Lin Yi as much as everyone else does.

I see what you mean that it was pretty ridiculous and I agree, it was such a bad idea to go and turn over her body without taking precautions that anything could happen. If it was the captain or Ning Meng’s team that encountered her instead, they would have definitely been more careful before going up close. It was essentially Dong Dong’s fault for running off on her own and of course Lin Yi would follow. He spent the few seconds he had to react to push Dong Dong away and took the blow which doesn’t leave any room for him to survive. But judging from that scene, they probably wanted to show a surprise attack that caught them off guard since all the other underlings they dealt with before in the beginning were dumb and since that female terrorist was the one that managed to escape from the beginning, she is supposed to be considered somewhat smarter. And if the terrorist team failed to transport the materials for the bomb they have been trying to get all along again this time around, they would really be too weak for a villain and there would be no point of that final showdown battle (which is a given that it had to be intense).
Imagine if it was Dong Dong who died, her death would not have brought such an emotional and physical impact for the team as Lin Yi did (his sniper position was also very important). If he or someone else were to die during the unexpected desert operation, it might be too early into the drama and some people may even stop watching at that point 😅
Also, I hoped the dad came to realize what was more important to him after Lin Yi’s death when he was given the medal of achievement at the funeral. Even in his final moments, Lin Yi still mentioned that he didn’t let his dad down. It was such a psychological barrier and torment to him 🥺

Yes it is sad, plus he literally just became the main sniper for not long and honestly they could’ve avoided all that if they shot the female terrorist a few more times to ensure she was dead! But someone’s death was inevitable near the end which just so happens to be the most innocent one of the group only to tug at our hearts 😢
Once again Lin Yi did that for Xu Dong Dong just like how he fought with the loan shark previously that got him in trouble. Apparently his sacrifice does serve a purpose given how his character was written. Not only does it drive the Blue Lightning Team’s combat effectiveness up another level to catch the terrorists ASAP, but it turns out it was actually the only other way for Lin Yi to get his dad’s approval of him again after not being able to get promoted previously. His prior punishment probably interfered with him getting that promotion smoothly.
Lin Yi’s character is so pitiful: he has to live with so much pressure and expectations from his parents who only cares about achievements, doesn’t get to be with the one he cares for, and neither a good ending 😫
I laughed so hard with QG's conversation with the commissar. All along, he's so happy that they're supportive…
That scene was funny and the commissar misunderstood the tea thing when it was the captain who asked her to look into it. But I think the reason being was because the captain and Ning Meng have a pretty wide status/rank and age gap so it wouldn't be appropriate for them to be together plus they are supposed to be more focused on their operation. However, you can't really do anything if they like each other lol.
