Well, than ppl r weird here :) We can praise, we can criticize, but to sht on them?
Tbh, if any, YL and PSJ are not among my favs, but not because I didn't like these chars: for me they felt underdeveloped, 1sided. They were good, PSJ had many badass fight scenes, YL was a cutie, but these 2 felt just a bit empty, too little backstory I guess.

I think I watched another version of Ying Lei's death, where it wasn't some pointless dramatic flare.
ZYZ was powerless, WX poisoned, PSJ is LL's doormat at the most, ZYC was afraid of hurting his body, but YL pulled an ultimate spell from his sleeve and pinned LL down, so ZYC could point his sword with surgical precision, threatening to destroy LL's inner core, thus forcing him into the twig.
For me it happened like this, clear as daylight, but as I said, maybe I watched through some shader, from a diff angle or sg :)

I'm the same, can't take the w8ing pain, so I'll binge it.
However, I've been here from day1, popping in daily to read some comments here and there - to know what to expect - and by the looks of things, it's gonna deliver everything I hope for: lols, great story, romance, drama, ost (don't know about crazy, badass fightscenes, but since DYX is in it, I'm pretty sure we'll get those, too).
Getting ready for the ending with piles of tissues and buckets, we will surely get some heartshattering drama before happy ending (plsplspls, be HE).

Depends on individual taste. Maybe check out some shorts on yt, their trailers, which peaks your interest? But why the 'or'? Both ongoing, so watch both, problem solved ;)

Thank you! I will def. watch it. Since LYST, he's already a cat in my eyes, and a very cute 1 at that.
Also, I love crazy fight scenes, he's just a master of them (MOGA and LYST, in both he was just jaw-dropping), so far from reality, yet so damn amazing and hot as hell. :D

That's my problem, too. If he's just an NPC, how can there be a happy ending? Though I dropped TROTAR midway, I read up on it, and even the ending was off for me. The whole 'she knew, he didn't' just doesn't make sense.
I love the 'a god pitted them against each other' idea :D
I'm just hoping this series won't be a victim of the 'let's make it a sad ending' trend. Fingers crossed.

I truly admire his acting, too. TROTAR was the first I've seen him. I dropped that, thinking it was 'cause he was too pretty.
Than came MOGA's Shen Du - that little smile in the first scene got me hooked instantly -and I was amazed, entertained, loved his character, the chemistry with his partner, and the whole series, even though it had it's little blemishes.
It lead me straight to LYST: just marvellous, with all those hilarious antics (the kabooms, the shroomsoup, the dynamic duo...) Love, love, love!
Than revisited TROTAR, only to realize, that it wasn't his too beautiful face that made me drop the first time, it was lacking, most characters were so dull, it didn't sit right with me.
I just love his talent, acting skills, the dedication to his characters, how you can feel what the char feels. Since I started watching cdramas, I found some really talented ppl, whom I truly admire, and watch their best works.
Now I can hardly w8 for the 15th Nov to binge this series - I can't endure the daily pain of w8ing for the nxt eps to drop - just here to pick up breadcrumbs to survive till than. Maybe will watch WCL.

As I just wrote, what you're doing here doesn't hlp, only harms, contact the site admins for solutions, especially if you have proof.
Oh, and I'm not a fan of either actresses, here for DYX, who deserves more than this 8.1. The rating was most likely manipulated to fall by some trolls yesterday, the math just didn't add up to such a huge drop.
Btw, I'm not biased, I eagerly w8 for TSOPG to end, so I can also binge that, love LYN, too. That crystal voice... He deserves more than that 8.2. I presume.

Maybe I'm running wild, stop me any time. I haven't even seen a single ep, nor read the novel, just picking up breadcrumbs (few scenes on yt, comments here) to hold on till I can binge it, but thinking about the ending, how can it be happy:
What makes most sense to me is that the (writer?/bookshop owner? read something, can't remember) ML got into the novel/game, just like her, he got missions, just like her. This could xplain his behaviour towards his sis (+might have sis issues, similar to her dad issues), his hostility towards her, + if she's just an evil sidecharacter of the novel at first in his eyes, he can feel totally justified to kill her gazillion times without blinking - she would revive anyway.
Not knowing of each other's real identity, falling in love, come the bloody heromoment, we cry our eyes out, sad ending, end of novel/game, back to real world, they realize who's who, happyend, LALALA... :D
What took me on this wild path is a scene I saw, talking to her dad, which peaked ML's interest and he questioned her. Maybe I'm totally wrong, will see their behaviour after 15th Nov. ;)
Sry, there were too many heavy, bad ending dramas lately, even such, that were supposed to have happy ending. I couldn't take it, if this breath of fresh air would turn into doom and gloom, too.

The story is not the main point. The most important in a way, but even the best story can turn into sh*t in the wrong hands.
I can watch a recycled story many times, as long as the acting+/production+/vibe gives me something new and exciting to watch. We can't expect all the writers around the world to come up with an original story every time they write a book/script.

I feel your pain. It took me time, patience and a lot of (ear)suffering to get through the first part of LBFAD, but as Orchid's character starts to develop, her voice changes too, thus it's not that annoying later on, and - for good reasons - even turns ice-cold towards the end. It's a masterpiece, would be a shame to miss it just because of some (very-very-very) annoying whining at the beginning.
I love the Chinese's aspiration to achieve perfection, and I somewhat get the explanation for her babyvoice, but there's a little problem with the logic there: if her age was a babyage as an immortal, why did she have adult body? Doesn't make sense up to this day, yet, I still recommend LBFAD wholeheartedly, it's such an astonishing fantasy they created.

They don't even look similar, DYX is far superior, but I do get where you're coming from.
My first ever cdrama was OFL. It took me some time, till I could see the difference between the 3 MLs (Wang He Di, Liu Dong Qin, Wei Zhe Ming). Looking back now, their looks are totally different :D

Yepp, from what I see, his skills and dedication, the amount of work he invests in understanding and convincingly playing his characters is amazing. I can recommend MOGA and LYST - I prefer costume dramas - I loved these two. Both have little imperfections, but his acting and the chemistry with his partners can easily outweight them. (Not to mention some hilarious antics.)

Yes, it's a masterpiece. It was my 2nd cdrama after OFL.
Once I got through the beginning I loved it, and watched it several times since than (Wang He Di was my fav in that), but the first time was tough :)
My other fav is LYST. Has it's flaws. but Ding Yu Xi's acting could counterweight all of it, he's a god of subtle acting.
And now, here are the leads from my 2 fav cdramas, fingers crossed. :)

I won't start to watch till all eps are out, but by than I would like to know all the cons, thus I can adjust my hopes accordingly, and don't fall from too high up. :)
Even LBFAD took me weeks and several tries till I could suffer through the first part, so I try to prep myself in advance this time :)
