Anyone else had any concern over how lenient the merfolk world is? Usually mermaid!au stories have the merfolk condemn those who tread on land. There doesn't seem to be any consequences socially but rather health wise.
Jo Jung Suk's cameo just made the drama so much better. Giving naive Shim Cheong helpful tips and basically giving her so much character development. I also love the subtle Jealousy Incarnate references. My god, when I saw him clutch his chest. I'm like where is Pyo Nari to help him with his breast cancer. I shouldn't be joking aha... ;__; The pink pearl ring though...
I swear to god, if someone comes bashing on their age differences I'll murder them. This show is too good…
You'd be ok if she's 15? My god. 15 year olds are still dumb. People can't help but have the mentally of a minor acting a romance drama with an adult. If the law were more lenient, protecting minors from real problems from child predators would be more difficult. She's 18 so its fine so I don't understand why people are going nuts. He's older than anyone anyways lmao.
I don't care what people say. After episode 12, I think In Sung and Mari are made for each other. xD She may be a pretty girl on the outside but she's bratty and dumb so it's not like any other ordinary pretty girl + ugly guy pairing.
Wow I'm so conflicted about my emotions about the main couple....I don't know if I should feel sad and emphasized with them because its hard to like the characters. But I desperately wanted a happy ending for Wang Eun + Soon Deok and Baek ah + Woohee.
Not to mention I cry for Chaeryung!!! ...even though she helped do the bad things that led to many innocent deaths.
Also last thing is I think Hae Soo should've been with Jung. Its so heart breaking when Baek ah found out about him liking her more than a friend. ;-; She would've been happier with Jung but at the same time ugh she deserves a good hearted guy like him.
The ending is so heartwarming haha. Oh my god the twist that Kibum only passed but Gong Myung and Dong Young didn't. LMAO. I can't believe it ended. Now what should I watch while I eat dinner? ;__;
Progressively loosing interest here. Kim Yoo Jung just can't keep up with Park Bo Gum acting wise. Totally mismatched…
She's only 16 but she has tons of experience hence being a child actress. This is her first lead role so she's not experience in the field of being a lead female character. Though I never had a problem with the chemistry and she matches up with PBG's acting just fine. It feels like he needs to catch up with her.
Happy ending..but i'm left with sooo many questions. Like, is her farher really gone? What happens to D Yoon?…
Suddenly the prerequisite to judge an English Lit major is to be an English Lit major yourself. Hah. Guess I have to quit studying my passion in order to evaluate your comment. I'll have you know I was on the top of my English classes in high school and even received an award for being the top of my 11th year class. Never once did I half-assed.
Multitude? There is barely a full page of said comments that you had a problem of. You're basically have a sissy fit of people wishing for a depressing ending and that bothered you a little too much because you thought it was perfect the way it is. You're reading into other's opinions way too much. If you only responded, "I thought it was perfect without a depressing ending." That would've been alright! Enough of this but do you think it may be at least half true? If tragedy didn't cause great impact to the audience, Titanic and Romeo & Juliet probably wouldn't been popular.
This drama would've been a masterpiece if it was made by tvN.
I wasn't aware of that. Thank you for the insight. The broadcasting channels seems to be the one managing all the marketing/mediaplay on their dramas too right?
Happy ending..but i'm left with sooo many questions. Like, is her farher really gone? What happens to D Yoon?…
Its surprising that you're an English Lit major judging the way you write. You abbreviate unnecessarily (there's no word limits here) and capitalize random words in your sentences. Are they emphasized? Or you intend to bold things but this comment section doesn't click well with html? Though I understand that it might be the case of being on a internet platform does affect the way you write.
Yet again you're trying to prove me wrong when I was here just to clarify. Having whatever ending is not a criteria doesn't make a story a masterpiece. I don't disregard happy endings, they're good. It makes me feel good watching happy endings. No matter what ending; sad or happy or even neutral, if it done right its a masterpiece (holding this word loosely in this sentence).
I liked the ending but... I have so many questions. I wish it would've been at least 15 minutes longer to explain…
Does Kang Chul really have hacking skills? I don't remember at all. Or do you interpreted that he can go through the tablet to different worlds as "abilities with computers?"
People are not raising questions just simply because they're curious. There's so manly loopholes that people have no choice but to raise questions because they're confused.

Did you even read properly? They clearly said they watched masterpieces with sad endings. They never implied that every sad ending makes a story a masterpiece.Someone hoping for a sad ending doesn't mean anything close to misapprehension. Masterpieces with sad endings are hard to come by because they're completely hard to pull off and the film industry is over saturated with good endings.
