Just saw a video on youtube about how many challenges he faced in his career so far...and how many hate fans are…
I hope he can have a flourishing career. Fortunately, he has fans in China who are working hard by doing data and buying his endorsements products.
Unfortunately, the competition in the entertainment industry is fierce and harsh.
Like the launch of his L’Officiel magazine on mi- January, there are many obstacles to prevent his fans from promoting and buying this magazine.
I think many people are scared because his position in the entertainment industry will depend on the volume of this magazine selling. It seems to be the last thing which can prove his strength and commercial value.
If the volume selling is high, Ding Yuxi position in EI will be secure and he can get better ressources, choose better scripts and crew.
But if the volume selling is mediocre like what happened 4 years ago, when he was a rising star with popularity, well… he will turn back to be a nobody again because he has no rich family background nor capital support.
And I think that is what his competitors and haters want to see happens, so Ding Yuxi and his fandom will become the laughingstock.
That is why on Weibo, these days, his fans were under attack from all sides. They got scolded, slandered and cyber- violence online for plagiarism even though the issue was already resolved. Their purpose was clear, it was to distract and prevent his fans from promoting the launch of his magazine to his loose fans who are scattered across multiple platforms.
Trailer? No trailer came out yet. This director does not do senseless full screen close ups with the camera right…
I understand now why it felt so awkward when he was doing the close up in that drama after watching the first episode of his “The Blood of Youth “. Yin Tao 👍 Currently watching, so far so good.

My comment is not because of the promo. The close up is well done there. I am talking about another drama he directed. I hope he will do his close up like in the promo not the one from that drama, but it didn’t turn me off from watching it till the end because everything else is good.

I didn’t watch them. And yes, I agree that he is a good director who knows what he is doing and most importantly, he knows where to put the money in a cost- efficient way. What I said about his editing is just a minor flaw from my own preference which others may not share. And I don’t think it will affect this drama final result.
Guys, every time I read a comment like this it makes me so nervous that the final product won't live up to expectations.…
A drama can become a hit depends on director, scriptwriter, actors, and all people from the crew. So don’t mind too much about what I said about this director editing technique. As long as everyone are doing their job well, this drama do have potential to become a big Hit. If it’s flop, it should fall on their shoulders, not on one person.
I have high expectations after watching the trailer, but… the director editing is weird. I hope he won’t do those full screen zoom- in eyes🙄It feels so awkward to suddenly see ONLY 👀 displayed on screen and not the actors whole face. It makes the story flow kind of cut off🫠🫠🫠
He is really talented actor and one of the few actors who can play with his eyes too. Unfortunately LYF didn't…
I don’t really know DW very well, and the only drama I had watched of his was and his acting skill was not impressive.
From the OP comments and by saying the bad editing in LYF was the reason why his true skills didn’t show, kind of confirm that his acting skill didn’t improve since I last saw his drama.
I think blaming the crew for his shortcomings for not been able to deliver a good performance just discredit any praise about him having talent and good acting skill because no matter how bad the editing was, if the actor has true talent, it will show on the screen. Usually, there are many shots and angles for just one scene, and who is stupid enough to ruin everyone hard work by choosing the worsts angle, so…
Anyway, I also hope his acting skills will improve here, and everyone can watch this drama peacefully.
fl fan club already denied the rumours and no one going to take this flitty drama role🤣and joseph zeng as ml
Toxic fan think the original poster was insulting her or his favourite acting’s skills by mentioning « need good acting FL », but Bora Tan didn’t mentioned anyone in particular.
That idol fans is using this opportunity to make their idol popular and in the spotlight using Ding Yuxi and his fans 😠
I hope more and more people are aware and will buy his magazine when it’s online so those people schemes won’t work.
