Did you continue watching? Because itβs later explained that heβs an architect or something but worked as…
Yes, thank you ! When I continued watching, it became clear. I wonder if the way he's treated has something to do with who his mother was rather than just a P'Chai bossing a Nong Chai about. However, I may be absolutely wrong.
I'm a bit confused. Kelvin seems to be a waiter in one early scene and the next time we see him he is trying to give advice on where to position a garden statue.
I don't understand why Jimmy mourns Toh? This guy, despite being significantly older than Jimmy, is emotionally…
Could it be that Jimmy recognizes too late that Toh is actually a decent person, unlike him ? And as far as Toh goes, is he like Jira in Burnout Syndrome - attracted to bad boys ?
I am "marathoning" and finished EP04.Tell me how: Toh heard phone call between Jimmy and Teh but Fah hasn't?!…
I agree. Teh is a player too, though less shameless than Jimmy. He also seems to know himself well enough to be aware of exactly what he's trying to protect Toh from. And he did try to keep his side of the deal he made with Jimmy.
Yo wtf? Teh switched sides too quickly! What? So you see a drunk and sad Jimmy and suddenly, his past misdeeds…
I completely understand your concerns. You're right to be puzzled by Teh's switching sides.
However, I think there might just be another possible explanation. Teh knows himself well enough to see that he is not unlike Jimmy in some ways. He didn't waste much time when Plaifah gave him an opportunity in Episode 2. It wasn't just a kiss.
This may be the reason Teh is so fiercely protective of his older brother. He knows exactly what kind of person he thinks he should be protecting Toh from.
As a result, Teh can relate to Jimmy's situation. He may be less of a playboy than Jimmy, but I think he is honest enough to recognize that the reason he and Jimmy have been good friends is to some extent due to similar hunting instincts. Of course, maybe I am overthinking this.
None of this excuses Teh, but it does make his position more understandable. Jimmy, of course, is still in need of changing his attitude very significantly.
I finally finished watching all the episodes. After Monster Next Door, which was like comfort food, it was good to try something equally engaging that was also very different in its own way.
Giving a decent amount of time to the development of the Tailah/Chan story was a plus. I also liked how the final episode retained an element of suspense, instead of just being padding to round off the story.
While I prefer Seng playing good guys - I really enjoyed his performance in Knock Knock Boys - his role as Yi was a positive sign of his versatility as an actor.
Only just started watching this, but it certainly has a different vibe to previous Pond/Phuwin series. Episode 1 was hilarious in places and kept me smiling from beginning to end.
This is going to be fun to watch and I can already see I will be rating Pond/Phuwin more highly by the time it finishes.
JJ seems to be perfecting a particular kind of supporting role like the one he plays in Head to Head. And there will be the added bonus of William appearing in Episodes 4-6. So it looks as if there's plenty to look forward to π
A few days ago I watched Sea being a badass in his new role in Head to Head, and now it seems as if Park is headed in a similar direction with his π.
I also like the fact Big has the role of an opportunistic character in this series.
Finally watching Episode 1. Nice start to another retro romance. It's good to see Peak in a role as an adult. There seems to be a trend featuring vintage bl romances, what with recent productions like Shine and Memoirs of Rati.
Just watched the first episode and it's obviously going to be worth coming back for more.
Nice to see Mond playing a character with a softer side. Neo is in fine form with his role. And, in addition to everything else, Winny is slaying with that haircut !
Some engaging entertainment to look forward to π
Great to see Prem in a different kind of role as the antique dealer/art restorer ! And as for Mark, it's also really good to see him in a role that shows once again how versatile an actor he is. He manages to bring that same kind of low key stylish presence to all his characters.

Off's image in this series is something refreshingly different. And Gun has managed to give his usual kind of character a convincing new look.
It's great to see Ing in another context providing the same level of support as she did in Perfect Ten Liners.
Looking forward to seeing AJ in Episode 2. Having either or both of those twins always adds something extra to whichever series they're in.

Also, and I don't have anything against Medics and Engineers, it was cool of the writers to make the couples Fashion majors for a change π
