This drama will make you feel all the right emotions at all the right times. Ep5 our girl really hit the bottom but I hope that was the last of the pity party coz I can’t cry with her anymore. 🫠
Okay so ep3 peaked, I was so angry halfway in ep3 coz I thought she was gonna take him back like she said but I’m happy they ended the relationship, I’m glad he said some terrible things about her coz sometimes we need to hear some harsh truths in order to do better for ourselves. It was also nice to see Bora’s younger sister looking out for her and actually being nice to her sister not being a brat. Bora did some good reflecting too and realised that she ignored all the red flags her ex had been showing.
Currently watching Ep3 and Bo-rah is disappointing me, I thought she was intelligent like the books she writes but she’s the complete opposite, I mean why is she actually willing to give that jerk another chance? I mean in hindsight I should’ve known that she’s the opposite of the her books when she ignored all the red flags.🤦🏽♀️
If I was Glue Stick's mom, I would've taken my baby and left that place already because why are all these moms so Judgmental, like is motherhood supposed to be that toxic too?
I truly hated how episode 4 was handled, I mean that woman has been abused by her mother in law for years and when she finally had the balls to stand up for herself the writers make her go back to the same husband who didn't even stand for her against his mother because there was still some romance there? that was truly a fumbled scene, she was supposed to stay strong and divorce that 'mamas boy" get her half of the building and live a great life with her daughters, to teach other women out there that they should always stand up for themselves even if it takes them years to do so.
At first it seemed like his father put him under house arrest because he was angry at him for doubting his leadership and what kind of king he is, but I think actually he was under house arrest because his father was testing him to see if he has what it takes to fight the corrupt ministers especially ministers from the Cho/Jo family, the right state councilor, because the King himself seems like he is afraid of the right state councilor and can't make his own decisions, so he wants to see if the prince is able to stand up for himself and the people and bring the truth about all their corrupt plans.
Firstly Wow, episode 11 was so good, PHS is doing such an amazing job and I feel this might be one of the most well written dramas of the year (maybe it's too early to tell). The scene in ep11 when the Crown Prince told his father the truth about how he felt and how he made him feel ashamed of himself was gut wrenching. My heart broke for him. That was a stellar performance from PHS.
Took me forever to finish this TBH but it was well worth it, I struggled with the pacing of the story it was quiet slow for the information the characters were working with, I blindly watched this until maybe the 3 last episodes, I didnt try to guess anything I followed the story as the writers had given it to me which was kinda hard coz it seems the writers were also just following the story, LOL, all in all it's a good drama but it couldve been shorter than 12eps.
