I love the leads but the plot is not as captivating or interesting as I thought it would be. This isn't bai Lu's best work, probably in my lower ranking of her dramas, even in styling ( which I look forward to in historical dramas)feels lacking but I can't pinpoint exactly.

I haven't read the webtoon but the way the scenes are shot I could already imagine the pictures from the webtoon u know? kiddos to the director and scriptwriter. I feel like it translated well onscreen.

I read the webtoon too and SSR part was so brief I never thought they'd make a season 3 for him and yumi's story. Nevertheless, I still liked the ending. The cells were fun and cute.
I mean they had a whole a*s parade in this episode and a yacht in the last one...felt pretty high budget to me.
I live in the islands renting a yacht is actually cheaper than you think. Buying one however is another story. Think of it like Airbnb you can definitely afford a few nights than buy a house.
Looks like the budget for the drama went to the casting of main actors. Was expecting a little bit more in terms of production, set design and cinematography color grading is off compared to the hype of the"scale" of this drama.
