The writing is just bad. The dubbing isn't good. I don't know if the ML's actor is just bad at acting or if he just gets bad characters. He's expressionless, emotionless and obnoxious. He's just overall very robotic, exactly like he is in "Amidst a Snowstorm of Love."
I rewatch this drama almost every other year and it never fails to make me smile :’)Idk why the student-teacher…
I don't know about others but the age gap or being a student and a teacher isn't what bothered me. What bothered me was that he fell for her when she was still a minor.
I'm happy there weren't any break ups. The age gap in itself doesn't make any difference to me. However it feels strange they made ML fall in love with FL when she was still a minor in high school. I think it would have been better if they had waited for university at least.
I am on episode 3...someone tell me if this drama gets better? I don't know but with an 8.5 I had high expectations…
I think this drama gets better the further along you get, and in the end I thought this was a surprisingly good drama. There is an explanation for why he fell for her so fast in the last few episodes.
I really don't like that the villain wasn't punished in any way for all the things he did, like the curse, toying with the main couple and FL's family.
You are probably the first commentor here who has said UK is annoying 😂 that's an interesting take.
It just annoys me that he goes through so much trouble to get his gate of energy opened, but once it's open he doesn't want to practice or train. He tells Mudeok to keep pushing him, but when she does that, he gets upset, that she's forcing him.
I haven't found a character I like as much as Jo Yiseo, in a long time.
Also I'm more intrested in the second season so I'm watching the first season mainly just for that reason.
Edit: but everyone agrees that he is the only real option for a crown prince until the previous crown prince's son was old enough.
