Yes you are spot on about the time loop but it still happened and it's kinda pointless script in my view because no matter how many times she goes back she can't change it so we still get that horribled ending.

Xiao Yao is so useless everytime she travels time or w/e disaster follows. serious stuff is going down and she's there chatting with the emperor or chatting with the demon guy who's name I forgot.bad script. Then that ending really? This drama is such a letdown save yourself the time.

same childish vibe turned me off too I wanted to drop it too but I'm watching for Bing Zhu really. It's ok.

very spot on the script isn't the best and the characters make it fun but only if you like them enough to stick to 40 episodes which is too much.

that just makes it worst she sounds too mature to be making her voice cutesy and it's cringe character should not do that silly voice just talk normal
