The white snake xiao bai’s master also hinted in the beginning that they will have a happy if they finish their trial, so I thought they will but I guess not. And yea I also saw someone commented that there’s 61 episodes but idk if it’s real or not.

In the show at the beginning he was a black dragon and still is one.

I’ve liked her already and I’ve seen only one of her show destiny of the white snake, it’s amazing.

I do not know how well she acts but it’s the first time im watching her and I’m sold, her take as Xiao Bai is just amazing.

Oh it gets pretty heartbreaking on how much all the couples sacrifice for each other and their friends.

It is different from previous works, but idk if they’ll change the ending or not.

I don’t think it will be a happy ending since there’s so many foreshadowing throughout the show on it becoming tragic ending, but hopefully it will be happy.

Well Xiao Bai is a naive little snake who was raised by the higher god so she knows nothing. That’s why our ML here is teaching her and helping her along the way. I feel like this is actually pretty good since all the other or previous shows made her way too powerful and smart, that this is pretty refreshing when they switch it up.

On ep. 40 something and I’m just sitting here waiting for the black dragon to finally noticed that it was Xiao Bai who gathered his freaking soul... like seriously how many times will he mistaken others for her. She’s suppose to be the special person who saved him but here he goes trying to kill her multiple times and saving everyone other girl there except for her since they’re his “savior”.

I agree @ Genie & LNY this version is pretty refreshing since all the others that’s I’ve watched made xu xuan as a scholar who can’t do anything, Fa Hai a evil guy who just ruins thing, Xiao Qing a evil snake, and Xiao Bai the strong and smart one. Although I barely understood anything since I watched the vietsub one, but it just clicks a lot better than the others.
Oh and at first I thought the crane was going to be an evil character but it turned out to be the Leng girl.
And I thought the part with the carp was a little confusing, somehow in this shows saving someone = loving the savior like crazy. Idk I just thought that was weird like yea that person saved you but how in the world do you love someone that you never met or even know.
