Title Got'chu Fam! Spoiler
While there were technical issues, I still found Episode 11: It Started with a Kiss enjoyable. Carlo and Paul seemed happy while King and Spencer looked like an item with that kiss. I like King and Spencer. They are opposites and I hope they learn from each other. On this episode, there were relevant dialogues about getting tested, being true to one's self when using a dating app, and practicing safe sex. Acting was alright. Audio-visuals were uneven. There were loud background sounds and editing wasn't smooth. For next week's finale, I just want this series to tie the remaining loose ends.

Too bad about no subs. =(
They upload English subs (as a separate video) after a day or two and Spanish subs (again, as a separate video) after a few days.

Title Lakan Spoiler
Episode 7: Dumating na Paglayo (Departure Came) felt rushed. Being the penultimate episode, a lot of things were squeezed into this episode. The whole John and Venice storyline wasn't allowed to breathe. Everything was too fast. And it got muddier with the entry of a new character, JV. Bulan/Caloy and Christopher got close and the latter confessed to Ditas that he's gay. The jealousy trope was overused on this episode. Script was generally ok. Acting still lacked oomph. Audio-visuals were decent though. Background music was apt while camera shots were mostly good. I don't know how this will end this next week. I just hope it's passable.
On One Day Pag-ibig Feb 5, 2021
Title One Day Pag-ibig Spoiler
One of my issues with this series was the overall flow. A lot of times, it felt disjointed because of the abrupt changes in emotions and pace. This was pretty evident on Episode 4. At one point Kyle and Roi were nice to each other, then they fought, shouting at each other, and then suddenly, they're nice to each other again. It didn't help that the script had cringy unrelated dialogues. Acting performances need to be toned down. There were too much shouting and unnecessary movements including hand gestures. While Allen and Ivo were cute in their own way, they still need to find chemistry together. Production technicals, especially editing, need improvement. Three more episodes!

Episode 7: Kara Sevde was like the calm before the storm. Because of what happened, Wade and Jose Manuel were now distant to each other. There was a feeling of pain yet because of the mythology of Sidapa and Libulan, there was also a sense of hope. I love that they used an ancient Filipino (Pinoy) mythology to highlight that "love knows no gender" and that one should "fight for what you feel." And with the preview for the next episode, it seems that Sidapa and Libulan's story is more intertwined with Wade and Jose Manuel's story. This week was substantially and technically solid. Plot, performance, and production were all strong. I expect intensity on the last two episodes!

Similar to previous episodes, Episode 14: 101% was messy. There were unnecessary scenes including lots of dream sequences. This episode was disjointed and it got lazy real fast. The only tolerable scene was Gabriel and Giorgio's love making scene. The dialogues were cringy and the lines were over dramatic. The actors over acted as well. Audio-visuals were poor. Dubbing was bad. I just want this series to finally end. Is Gabriel dead? I hope not. One last episode!

After Ep13 the director said last 2 weeks so I guess, 2 more episodes.

Title Got'chu Fam! Spoiler
Episode 10: Start of Something New was mostly ok. I liked that there's relationship development for Carlo and Paul but it would have been better if they weren't drunk. Carlo being drunk earlier took away from the steaminess of their sex scene which Spencer witnessed. Spencer's naive and weird but he's still my favorite character on this series. At least his character had some sort of character development on this episode. He seemed to have discovered something new about himself. Script was largely fine. Acting was good. Audio-visuals were generally alright. Last two episodes!

Title One Day Pag-ibig Spoiler
While there were slight improvements, overall, Episode 3 still needs refinement. Plot/storyline progressed with additional character background for Roi and a bit of relationship development for Roi and Kyle. Screenplay was somehow disjointed with unrelated lines and unnecessary dialogues. Acting needs work. It felt forced at times. There were also some exaggerated movements. Audio-visuals were largely uneven. I hope next episode's better.

Title Happenstance Spoiler
Wade finally told Jose Manuel that Luis is dead. And Juan Manuel's father, Fabian, somehow, had something to do with it! Jose Manuel's mad at Wade (and later on, at Alice) for not telling him the truth. Episode 6: Onsra was another strong episode. I especially liked the memory sequence with Jose Manuel and Luis sharing sweet moments together and the imagination sequence with Jose Manuel and Wade slow dancing. These scenes were both heartwarming and sad. Screenplay had grounded and relevant historical, political, and social commentaries on Martial Law, media network shutdown, joblessness during the COVID-19 pandemic, and government incompetence. Avoiding preachiness, these commentaries were seamlessly incorporated in the overall narrative. Acting was quite good. Jovani and Stephanie were on point during their dramatic scene. Production value was consistently high. All in all, I was really satisfied with this episode.

Title Amore Spoiler
Not much happened on Episode 26: Something New. Jimmy and Joey are boyfriends now. And Joey will not graduate summa cum laude. This episode tried to clearly project Drei and Erwin's chemistry. I don't know if they were successful. It felt forced at times. Screenplay was alright. Acting was fine. But audio-visuals were poor. Volume fluctuated and I even heard some lines being dictated on the actors. Last four episodes!

Apparently, Episode 13: The Gift, which turned out to be a musical, wasn't the finale yet. This episode was chaotic. Hendrick was back and lookism was highlighted on this episode. After a couple of song numbers, which were mostly alright, Achilles and Giorgio kissed each other, just before Achilles stabbed Giorgio. I don't know if it's a dream or fantasy sequence but it was messy. Script had problematic lines. Acting wasn't that good. Some of the actors overacted. Audio-visuals were still uneven. So, when will this series end?

Title Win Jaime's Heart Spoiler
Episode 6: What Love Is was just ok. Not all issues were settled but we did get to learn more about Win and Jaime. But unfortunately, not much substantive progress in terms of relationship development. Screenplay had long and preachy lines but it was generally fine. Acting was largely passable. Production technicals was mostly good. Overall, this finale wasn't fully satisfying but it was still alright.

Why? The fact that it is there probably helped it get made. Even the stuff you think your getting for free some…
For every 100K views per episode with ads (so don't skip ads), the production company gets about USD 50 from Youtube. They actually get more from endorsements and sponsors so don't hate on the product placements because that's how they actually earn, lol! With GagaOOlala, they have this GagaOOLala Pitching Sessions (GPS) vying for part of the USD 250,000+ funding. Last year, 2020, these GPS had 1 Gold Awardee (USD 100,000), 2 Silver Awardees (USD 50,000 each) including Adolfo Alix Jr., the director of "Happenstance," but for a project called "Almost," and 5 Bronze Awardees (USD 10,000 each). I don't know which award Alix got for "Happenstance" and for "Unlocked," but for sure, he doesn't have to worry about financing his series because he has a more stable funding from GagaOOlala.

Title Got'chu Fam! Spoiler
Episode 9: Self Love is my favorite Got'chu Fam! episode. Kylie was stunning and the boys, King and Spencer sounded good. I also got to know King more on this episode. Screenplay was alright. Acting was largely ok. Sure, Mico's dramatic scene needed some tweaking, but it was mostly fine. Production design, including the contest and pageant stage, was passable. Three more episodes!
On Hook Up: A Homemade Series Jan 24, 2021
JC tweeted that producer Alwynn Erric dR. Villanueva (Niven Añonuevo) of J.ACE (now misFit Talent Management) has not paid him for this series and other endorsements. In reply to the tweet, Wex also tweeted that J.ACE still has unpaid balance. Paul (Lakan) also replied saying he was also not paid for an earlier series (I Love You Bro) that eventually got cancelled. This is really sad.

Title Influencers The Series Spoiler
Episode 8: Conscious Choice gave Migo and Ram and Cass and Chesca happy endings. As for Josh and Andrei or Josh and Max, I don't know what happened to them. This final episode was a bit of a dud. The confusingly long conversations with preachy dialogues were a bit dull. Also, while the answer to the question "Do you have to identify yourself as gay in order to love is man?" is obviously "no," it would have been better if they also emphasized that there's nothing wrong with identifying yourself as "gay." Acting wasn't good but generally tolerable. Production technicals were solid. There were nice camera shots. Overall, while this series had its shortcomings, it was mostly ok.
On Your Home Jan 23, 2021
Title Your Home Spoiler
Episode 8: Simula (The Beginning) Part 2 was dramatic, maybe overdramatic. Since Bryce decided to go to his parents overseas, Bart decided to go back to his province. Brendalynne was back as a mere sidekick of Bart. No idea what became of Edward. This finale ended with a cliche, with Bryce deciding to stay, to be with Bart. Screenplay had long and repetitive lines. While Kurt's acting was ok, the script given to him was just too dramatic without proper build-ups. Audio-visuals were mostly fine. This wasn't the finale I would have wanted but all things considered, it was still an ok series.
