Yet another Version of the Condor Heroes !?!? .... Seriously , can't they come-up w/ some new ideas ? ... besides…
It seems like that they want to milk these novel-turned-dramas since they are so successful and popular. They wouldn't be remaking these if there's someone out there can make better WuXia novels or come up with their own that is super good.
The "Eagle Shooting Heroes" that I was talking about was the 2008 version with Hu Ge and Ariel Lin or the 1994 "The Legend of Condor Heroes" with Chi Lam Cheung and Athena Chu.
The parody with Tony Leung, Leslie Cheung, Maggie Cheung, and all those big names! I loved that one, it is so funny. It talks about the 5 people's young days. Have you seen it? If not, you should see it.
"Battle of Changsha" and "Too Late to Say" is really good even though I don't like that period of time. My favorite historical C-dramas are the ones that takes place inside the palace.

Well...most of Jin Yong's works are really. That's why they'd bother to remake them. However, I really don't like the Return of the Condor Heroes that much. They should've remade The Eagle Shooting Heroes. I loved both the Huge/Ariel (China) and Chi Lam/Athena (HK) pairs.
well, i saw japanese version 2 times already and i loooove it sooo much! since i enjoyed watching it for the second…
Shin Sung Rok is really awesome although he usually acts as the second lead or supporting role. I love this villain and psychopath. I'm going to look forward to more of his amazing works (as a villain of course).
BTW Cheer. Can you recommend me some Shounen movies or stuff crazy like 'Black Butler'?
Manga recommendations are welcome too. :)
