Ugh HG’s “mom” is the worst. So glad he heard the conversation so he can see how awesome his uncle is and willing to protect him while looking like the bad guy. The flashback of little HG made me cry. Love the two of them so much and so happy the misunderstanding didn’t last for very long. Bom being right there to support Jae Gyu instead of making it all about herself (the town finding out) was lovely to see. Their couple scenes were so cute!
Se Jin not being insufferable for a change was nice to see. Continue to hate that meddling teacher. So glad the other one stuck up for Bom. Stay out of her business!
I like that the MIL isn’t the usual manipulative character and is an advocate for her daughter in law. Interesting that the husband is a “loser” character but is a doctor. It’s sad that two pretty successful doctors are struggling financially. They really need to teach financial classes in medical school (wish I had some). Being frugal can only get you so far.
The other family members and their storylines seem interesting as well. Hope this one doesn’t disappoint me like the last long weekend drama.
I was so annoyed with Eun Jo in the beginning since she was making it all about her pain without thinking about the consequences with her family, but happy she finally realized what she did and who she hit with the arrow. It’s rare to have a FL with this much self awareness. I could get on the pseudo-bromance train, but this trajectory does not seem like a happy ending for everyone involved. Hope I’m wrong.
Great cliffhanger. Can’t wait until next week! One of the few dramas that has surprised me with the twists, and still engaging over the halfway point. Curious how this will all end.
Poor Bok hee- guessing restraining order wouldn’t work for her. No wonder she’s so obsessed about making money and running away. So happy the roommates are there for her.
Guem Bo is too smart to be with a guy like Albert. He’s very sweet but dumb and has no clue what he’s doing at work. I feel bad that she’s using him for intel but she’s right that it wouldn’t work.
This continues to be my favorite on air show right now. Perfect balance of humor and mystery. All of the side characters except for the villains are so much fun.
That scene of folding the cranes... OMG LMAO He is one of my fav actors, every role is amazing
He was in three ongoing dramas at once- this one, Idol I, and Can this Love Be Translated. Played funny, quirky characters in each one and loved them all equally.
Why is the FL trying to run away from the ML whenever she sees him? Aren’t they in their 30’s? I hate it when writers go this route- at least the ML called her out pretty quickly for avoiding him.
The villain makes me angry whenever I see her smirking face- she even has villain eyeliner. Even the parents are scared of her, probably not wanting to make her upset since she’s a widow. But she shouldn’t have this much power in a company that is not hers. And her reason for revenge is so ridiculous that I don’t even feel sorry for her for being a widow.
The thing i hate so much about such kinds of sml is how they only realize their love for the fl when there is…
I would have much rather seen the SML with the best friend since she seems like a good person and clearly in love with him. Hopefully this triangle ends soon.
I really don't get Jeong Eum as a character. She wants her daughter Se Hyeon to inherit the company because it's…
Clearly a villain who is too dumb to function. Maybe the Beer company bankruptcy is something she’s willing to do and everything else will still be intact. I still think she’s awful for blaming the death on him when it seemed to be out of his control. It’s been almost two decades! Hopefully her daughter intervenes.
This show took a turn I was definitely not expecting. Guess this is another barrier the leads have. So sad right now, and that ending thoroughly gutted me. Crazy cliffhanger.
Jae I starting his redemption tour, which I appreciate. I just wish the niece was involved more but I guess my second ship will never sail.
That drunk fight was hilarious- bummed they killed the President so early in the show because I would have loved his character and watching him try to take his corrupt father down. Still hoping he faked his death and is pulling strings, but doubtful with how the storyline is going.
Still loving the relationship with the roommates. They are so supportive and sweet. Mr Lee is so nice as well- hope he’s not going to be an expendable character down the line and becomes an ally. Seems like Albert is wavering as well since he seems to be uncomfortable with what his father is doing.
I like that the romance is backburned for now and they are focusing on the mission. I may be the only one shipping her with her ex, and appreciate that he’s not a dumb ML.
Okay show but some of it is boring me. Also, Eun Ho is always complaining and whining that it’s getting tiresome. At least they explained why they can’t use her house or money, but the storyline has gone stale since she lost her powers. Hope they come back soon or we get some progression of the storyline.
Dogs are excellent judges of character so no wonder Bom sik barked at HG’s mother. Awful woman. I hope this storyline end quickly next week.
Se Jin continues to suck, still calling HG evil when he’s letting her stay at his house and use his desk to study. Should have been left in her dark house to fend for herself. Ungrateful brat. And I blame HG for this as well since he needs to yell at her the next time she calls him that. He’s enabled her rude behavior.
Leads continue to be adorable! Can’t wait until next week.
Just finished and I'm so confused as to how we got here. Like what was the point of the last transplant issue…
Agree. I thought the show was doing very well up until that plot point, then it was a hot mess. I wish they showed ML struggling more with being the CEO of a main company than that nonsense.
