I don’t think I’ve ever gone from smiling and giggling to bawling my eyes out so fast. I was laughing at how jealous Yong Ju was, and then we got the adorable dating scene. Then it was a sudden gut punch at that ending. It was expected, but can’t a girl enjoy her date for a few days?
I lost it during the voice recording. What a perfect way to say goodbye, filled with so much happiness and love. We got to see how Yong Ju wasn’t going to be left alone with everyone showing up to support her. The ending was perfect, with the green flag couple continuing to be each other’s comfort zone. I don’t think I could love them even more.
Another wonderful episode. Hope the last four continue to be as stellar as these last two have been.
Kim Jung Hyun is absolutely nailing his role as Gang Ju. I felt his sadness and dejection at the end. Poor guy just wanted approval from his stepfather who continues to be an asshat. I hope his mom follows through and sticks up for him. Poor guy needs a win.
Chae rim is absolutely awful, gleefully celebrating GJ getting fired. I thought she’d realize that he’s needed for her success, so hope she fails now that he’s gone.
Liking the Aunt subplot. Nice to see someone on this show some character growth.
What a great episode. I went from smiling to bursting into tears repeatedly. Such a green flag couple filled with honesty, respect and communication.
Could see why Yong Ju was hesitating when she was around Min Ju, and how he felt guilty as well. But those last 10 minutes made up for it. Can’t wait to watch this episode again! Even the second leads had good scenes.
Chemistry is great, but wish FL don’t sound so ridiculous on the phone. How can’t the ML notice they aren’t the same person because she sounds so flustered and borderline annoying.
That teenage confession gave me butterflies and was utterly perfect. I wondered what happened to get them to this point 18 years later of hating each other. Likely some dumb misunderstanding but will enjoy the teen cuteness while I can.
MR will definitely end up getting divorced or separated from his wife, because of his unhinged, dumb, and authoritative…
I would hate to see that because she’s so sweet. I wish he took the wedding money and got their own place so she would stop meddling in their business.
They are making it extremely obvious that his friend/partner was the one that really killed Jeong U’s wife. When she called him to say she’s sorry, she was probably having an affair with the friend and he killed her when she said it was a mistake, and then he pinned it on druggie brother. He was wistfully pining for his first love, so it has to be her, right?
Just finished watching the first episode and scratching my head why that drunkard blamed the surgeon for his daughter running away. There weren’t actual reconstructive surgeons you could have gone to? Also, mutual assault my ass. I hope Korean laws aren’t this bad in real life.
The chemistry between the teenage leads was so good! I would love to watch 12 episodes of that era.
I’m a sucker for enemies to first love to enemies trope, so this is right up my alley. So many recognizable faces, and the cameo of the younger grandfathers made me squeal because I wasn’t expecting them to be on this show, Can’t wait until tomorrow!
San ha’s mom keeps getting worse and more manipulative that I want to FF her scenes when she’s on. She is absolutely infuriating and one of the worst k drama characters ever.
Dal and Haejun have my heart. They are so adorable.
The looks that Min Ju gives Yong Ju make my heart flutter. Seriously, hot damn. They better get together the next episode because they are so adorable together, and are such a green flag couple. I love their honesty and how they both take care of the other.
I love dramas that revolve around the honesty and respect the leads have with each other. It’s such a breath of fresh air to see honest communication between the two, and both are equally looking out for the other. I couldn’t stop smiling at the shoes/hair tie scene, and when she sang and he listened to her instead of his zen music I teared up.
I hope the writers don’t mess this dynamic up with stupid misunderstandings and drama.

Loving Ju Ji hoon in those suits, though!
