Considering how almost everybody's a bit much of a mess- as are the relations- its giving date, adopt your genius niece and nephew and stay far away from arranged marriage schemes set up by crazy mayors.
Why does Ha-na want to transfer back to the office where residents toss garbage water on her? Request a special transfer to someplace far quieter(she'll end up on the island?). On an aside Sony is a nod to Rebecca from Waikiki. Few other things I feel vaguely familiar(but its been many years...). Though, Waikiki...Chul-hui should end up with a pretty sea turtle!! (he already has twins too)
As much as I don't like the SML he is their team leader. She should have reported some things to him irrespective of their personal history. And also seen to dialogue being kept open. Or at least not let logic leave the building. Most of their clients they counselled quite rigorously. There was a big red flag. And what occured a bit hammy... (also those two gaslighted her all those years ago why do they keep repeating that wedding broke up de to monetary issues when it wasn't on her end?)
They did mention more than once in the first couple of ep's that they were his nephews, although i'm still trying…
I didn't catch the phrase they say but apparently the single phrase in Korean for 'niece&nephew' is the same as the word for nephew(the male words are usually the default). So it must have gotten mistranslated as nephews for the subtitles.
Before I get down to reading the spoilers/novel. First impression was that there has to be an inside man in the office and it'll either be the devoted Park or the eccentric Kang(who I suspect more but I will scream if I see Im Chul-soo being a villain again) or someone who'll be introduced later maybe. The original kidnapper had a real odd manner of speaking(how'd Paik Sa-eon not notice the shift?). I suspected the missing In-a as the mastermind at first but it doesn't make sense as of now. Heo Nam-jun with his focus on serial killings is very sus. He could easily have accomplices too. Anyway, greatest thing ever was FL's plot twist. And how the kidnapper got taken by surprise XD
I'm wondering about the twins- whose kids are they. Did Chul-hui have a sibling? (or is it friends or such) The mystery of those posts and the stalker(?)...
I don't understand why are so many people complaining about last episode I didn't find anything weird. Overall…
I kinda get it as its a matter of expectations. Though I feel relieved to hear someone else that. When I live-watched the final ep- I adored it XD
About expectations- like, in the beginning of the year I felt let down by Crash. I liked it for the characters but it just didn't live up to the hype- what I thought it would be as a a traffic crimes investigation drama but its pretty well liked overall. Similarly here what I get are similar feedback- were expecting something more than the regular kdrama- than the simple+abridged way that it ended. The final episodes seem to have been a deciding factor/weak link.
"You know the guy" it means someone close to Jeong U is the murderer, i highly suspect gewnchana guy might be…
His mom is a bit sus too...and his lawyer friend. The only one who isn't looking that possible so far is the fatherly hospital director who can be equally suspect since he was in that group too. Each of the three would be big betrayals...
If she was murdered when he was knocked down why does he have memories of seeing her dead body?
And himself in the mirror...in what looks like the tux with blood on shoulder. Was thinking the same thing! He is now shown waking up in the hospital after having fainted. Even in ep 1 there are snippets of so many things. The flashback is full of seeing himself in mirrors or his hands and the timeline is tight... either some memories are misleading or have become all mixed up...
I read a bit of the manga a few years back and I remember a different impression of Gojo as less introverted and more adorable puppy. But both Gojo and Marin look like they walked out of the pages of the manga. I liked the manga because of Marin being highly relatable as an otaku and all the descriptions of making cosplay. Liking this so far...

Yeah they did. Its a seinen and they have had to change some things around after all. They were shooting in a love hotel(can't remember why- I think they found out it was a love hotel after they reached the place) and that awkward tension breaks when the couple next door started making loud ahem noises from the next room and the phone saved them to tell them their reservation time was up.
Even in the original I really don't get what happened with Mi-hwa(his finace not wife of 8 tho) since only Song-su is shown facing the fallout from all sides, but atleast everything was out in the open... Poor In-tae, even Jeong-suk failed him as a friend because she believes this way is better while he is always so supportive of her and Seong-su.
"Brief Encounters" was set in 1980s when Ann Summers was apparently starting out its party plan sales. When I'd first seen it in the drama I didn't note the brand at all till I opened the wikipedia page for Brief Encounters and learned of it's existence and history(on the other hand I'm the sort I'd never noted mentions of Victoria's secret in shows or knew of it till recently either). Don't quite know but seemed to still be going on from descriptions I had looked up(those also mention body shop, which I only knew as this reatil-only shop in my city's mall and so was surprised they had amway-similar mlm sales schemes abroad)

Honestly this kdrama plan for combating the declining birth rate seems more solid with too much govt resources but reminds me a bit like the manga Harekon(the part about the eccentric mayor who has a bee in his bonnet making plans on how to boost birth rates... rather than the marriage particulars).
