So I just caught up with Ep. 6, I found it pretty hilarious when Shao You was tending to Hua Yong during the morning having breakfast i think after he was supposedly saved from captivity. Anyway, Hua Yong told Shao You to go back to work immediately but Shao You kept saying no he doesn't have to go back to work immediately, his first priority is Hua Yong, and he must take care of Hua Yong first and that he cannot leave him alone because he likes Hua Yong a lot. Cut to the next scene, we see Shao You in his office working.... I literally laughed out loud!
So I'm waiting if Nut will actually have a speaking part in this series or if he is just there as visual support. Lol! Loving this series so far, honestly the trailer didn't sell me on this but I'm glad that it is turning out to better than expected, I shouldn't have doubted the acting abilities of Jimmy and Sea.
Idk. They got lots of R rate BL from other countries on their apps. They could have just only stream outside of…
True, that's because they know where the money is, that's why I legally stream and subscribe to both streaming platforms to encourage them to sponsor more BLs. Unfortunately, their government is the problem.

It's because it's really a Chinese Mainland production with Chinese actor so yes you are right. I'm not sure if the other BLs (Thai/Korean/Japanese) are streamed in China or only streamed for international audiences, but who knows how long the system will allow that. If they ban all BLs in their platforms, I'm just not going to renew my subscription in Iqiyi and WeTv anymore.
BLs are forbidden jn China. We knew this. This was expecting to be done behind the back of the goverment agency.…
I was probably too optimistic that the system will turn a blind eye since they weren't really streaming in mainland China but of course the system will find ways to assert its control. The system is the problem.
Gosh this is the danger with Chineses BLs just when you think every good BL that successfully streams will usher in a new age for Chinese BLs the system pulls the plug from under our noses. Why I am even surprised at this point that this series was pulled out from the Chinese streaming platforms? I just only hope this BL would finish dropping with no censorship otherwise it will just be another huge disappointment for us.
Just caught up on Ep 5, I'm so impressed with these Chinese BL so far, and I love how it doesn't shy away from portraying the Omegaverse. It's so daring for them to do so especially since Thailand have watered down the Omegaverse theme in PitBabe. Anyway, it's so refreshing to see a good quality drama and an interesting story line. Nowadays, I feel like we are bombarded with so many mediocre BLs lately, but this one definitely took a lot of risk in terms of direction and production, and it is good to see that it is now paying off. Maybe this will inspire others to improve the quality of future BL series. As an enigma Hua Yong intrigues me, how he can give off an Omega scent? Perhaps there's a detail in the series that I missed. Anyway, it is the second couple that really resonates with me, poor Gao Tu having to pretend to be a Beta and suppress his true Omega nature, oh there's so much angst and drama there and the actor that portrayed Gao Tu really did a great job. I have to admit I sometimes question the acting choices of the actor playing Shen Wen Lang but at the same time I get why he was casted for this drama; he has this natural devilishly handsome look to him that just draws you in, he's just perfect as the seemingly cold and callous Shen Wen Lang.
Ep. 2 for me seems much better in terms of plot and pacing. I actually like the comedy here as a break from the more boring elements of the show. Honestly have doubts about the chemistry of Joss and Gawin from the start, not yet fully convinced at this point but I'm willing to give them a chance and only because I believe in Gawin's acting ability. Speaking of Gawin' acting, I haven't seen this goofy side of Gawin, and I really like it, I find it so charming and endearing. On the other hand, I find Joss's character Mark rather flat and boring, I like his character in "3 Will Be Free" more, hopefully his character would improve once the romantic tension in their relationship develops.
One thing I wish is that GMMTV would invest in is better mics or sound engineers, I don't understand why they can't clean up the background noise in post-production, also I can't for the love of me understand why they can't crank up the volume of dialogue when their mic wasn't picking up the voices properly. They can overlay loud and annoying sound effects or music but not turn up the volume for dialogue how does that make sense? How many scenes were ruined in other past shows and will be ruined in the future all because they can't invest in decent sound engineering, come on?
Did mix get plastic surgery done on his nose? It feels like it
Yes his nose bridge became higher, seems like he might have some kind of nose filler or nose threads put in. Earth also got the same procedure too, his nose also became a lot straighter as well but you don't really notice it as much as Mix' because Earth's facial features are stronger. Both guy's nose bridges were lower if you compare scenes from ATOTS and now.
This episode just has so many jaw dropping moments but to me the most gob smacking moment was when Joong and Est had a scene together and they even spoke to each another!
I feel so bad for the boss when he finally got turned down by Heng when Heng was looking so dashing in his knight costume, while boss looks so ridiculous in his elf costume. Lol! On the plus side, Heng finally realized his attraction to Mo and we get another cute beer drinking scene with Earth Mix!
Ain't no way Jun went to all that trouble to help, buy food, go to secret bars, and tease Po just so he can show Thame how to become a better lover. He even gave stolen glances at Po when Po wasn't looking, and I don't think the director put those scenes in just to be a red herring for the viewers. Jun even told Thame at the end of the game that Thame won before the game even started, because he knew Po had feelings for Thame but Po had no feelings for Jun. He's just a proud man trying to cover up his hurt because he knows that it is pointless to go on when Thame confronted him.
