Same..I prefer novel ending too..It was way good and touching..Especially the way DX-FJM dies..Also the way JC dies due to HS smartness..That writing was brillaint..Here wa can't say that..

They were planning to kill FJM as they for sure know there is no other Fang son..But now its possible..

When FJM become baixi to two Emperor..Why can't an Emperor have two??? Like say after FJM dies..Weiyun needs a baixi..Can't FJM son become a baixi to him???

Yes..I wish so..But given their sacrificial tendencies..I won't be surprised if HS herself ask her son to become a baixi to save Weiyun life as he is now her other son and brother to him..😑

I know they would always care for the Emperor and keep in touch..They could have secretly helped too..

Also FJM and DX even before wanted to have an ordinary in the novel..They hated all this palace politics and rebellion..In drama they show these rebellion gets over in a few days..In novel its go on for years..That's why they got fed up of all..

Also the whole ending looked like the makers wanted Haisi to become a ruler..That seemed their main aim..If not they could have easily made XuLan live too..Bringing back baixi was a bad move..I mean they could have shown the baby healthy and FangShi guiding him too..Thoroughout this drama Baixi played the major role in FJM, HS and Emperor life..Its the main villain..In the end it was not defeated at all..That's my main problem..

For Yang Mi fans..Wish we get Perfect Husband telecasted on December 9th as the melon rumors saying..Or else have to rewatch Ten Miles (me) or LoF..😅

FangShi always want to grow old together and have their children..That's the ultimate happiness..Free from palace life..It was what Emperor wished for too in the novel..So the ending which they got is a compromised one..Where they have to love in secret..Not go to shopping holding hands..That sort of small things..They have be confined in Jifeng Pavilion..Always looking back their shoulder if they went out..Sigh..

These are the what if scenario due to the open ending..Yes..We can imagine however we want..That's the charm of open ending..I usually don't have any qualms about such endings..But here they should have one..Given baixi is still the knife hanging above their head..

I wish somehow they ended the baixi bond like in novel which is the main villain in the story..Like even mermaid cleaning up the blood of FJM..Something on those line..Now the cycle keep going to continue..Even if they want to break they can't now due to circumstances..
