Couldn't help feeling cynical at comments about kdrama plots being repetitive. A high-quality drama, a masterpiece…
Which drama are you referring to? This is a very well said argument and I can think of several this would apply to, but I'm curious which one you mean

Calm down there with the name-calling. The people who aren't jumping for joy at the news of a celebrity's "marriage"…
And not all opinions are helpful for a specific situation. Like the poster who is being nasty about the actor they don't know and calling them a gold-digger and ugly. Not an opinion that is necessary or helpful on this thread

help there's a limit I can't block any more people- đź’€
Unfortunately you apparently need to be a VIP to be able to block an unlimited amount of people. I think you should be able to block as many people as you'd like no matter what.
There's a suggestion floating around on the forums about this that folks can vote on

She's got a boyfriend ??? Geez the way her and Rowoon were over the top intimate in their drama I felt for sure…
It's not "acting"...it's acting. It's an actual job, and no quotes needed. Actors act, that's what they do, and sometimes that requires kissing. Your comment is actually super weird. Calling them cheaters because they're fulfilling their acting contract...

They’re saying she’s a gold digger and old and ugly - that’s VERY different than “not jumping for joy at a celeb’s wedding”

I don’t agree with this statement at all. They’re written, acted, and produced by Koreans. They don’t look…
Almost every British show I’ve watched had multiple seasons, and many Swedish and Polish shows too

Such an interesting article Suzy, generating SO much discussion. To the commenters lamenting the 'Westernisation'…
Same. I keep asking for examples of the "vulgar" and "explicit" sex scenes in newer K-dramas because I certainly haven't seen those but I've only gotten one response so far. I'm honestly asking because I don't see them

Just stop trying to appease western audience and incorporate elements from western shows. Many producers are trying…
Just curious - who says that they’re not truthful to Korean audiences?
Replying to Suzy Aug 19, 2024
Yes, that's true too. With my limited time I was able to focus on Kdramas as I have watched more Kdramas compared…
Why were your standards lower? And why do you value Korean actors more?

Wrote a reply to a commenter saying they couldn't understand the Netflix bashing, then found their comment had…
No, a K-drama is just a drama made by Koreans. It’s not any deeper than that.
